Christmas . . . Our God IS With Us

Christmas ought to remind us that even when it seems that the entire world has lost its mind, God is still with us. His redemptive plan WILL, in the end, prevail. It is, after all, about that Baby! All IS well! Believe it!

No wonder faith is lacking in some. How unbelievable that a Creator would love His creatures so much that He would lower Himself to take on their flesh, suffer and die in order to provide a way of escape from the inevitable eternal seperation that would occur because of sin.To most,a fairy tale at least, to others a glimpse of Love so intense that it is an unfathomable enigma. But we think as men do ,not as a Supreme Being. The mystery of Christmas is a simple message. He became poor to make us rich.

    Amen.

And now to bring the liberal view of Christmas, Stanford University has recently hired an Atheist Chaplain. http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Stanford-gets-a-chaplain-for-atheists-4139991.php

Leland Stanford established the university as non-denominational when it opened in 1891, but I can’t believe that he would equate non-denominational with Atheist Chaplain.
