Humorist Scott Adams (the “Dilbert” guy) warns us about becoming machines!

I found this fascinating. Humorist Scott Adams (the “Dilbert” guy) contemplates what we are and what we are becoming. I believe his analysis is correct as far as it goes, but here he's looking entirely at the mechanical angle of humanity. The spiritual end is harder (or impossible) to quantify, but I do perceive it to be there. But, whatever one may think of our spiritual component, that we (humanity) are in danger of being reduced to automatons and/or rendered superfluous is a matter of concern.
