Good article CR, thanks. Interesting that Israel lobby group AIPAC does not do direct donation to campaigns but Iran lobby group IAPAC does. You would think that some legacy media would harp on that. Much less, if those Iran donations went to Republicans with an important vote in front of them, you can bet it would be nonstop across all legacy media.
In other U.S. adversary news; the Chinese Premier is coming here for a State Dinner and some Republicans have called for him to be disinvited because of recent hacking. Well, Obama admin. is addressing by talking about possible sanctions for the hacking. And it looks like someone ‘misspoke’. Reuters article says possible sanctions are only for Chinese industrial hacking not the government hacking. Whereas others’ articles are saying that the severity of the gov’t hacking has played into the consideration for the industrial hacking sanctions. Regardless, I don’t believe that there will be any meaningful sanctions and Obama is only talking about because of the few Republicans talking about it, and this way he can still have the Dinner and lobby about the Trade Pact.
