Jobless Claims Dropped Because One Large State Failed to Fully Report

A sharp drop in weekly jobless claims last week was caused by the failure of one large state to report all of its claims — Labor Department CONFIRMED this. The spokesman declined to identify the state, but economists say good ol' California is the only one large enough to make such a difference.
