MUST WATCH: Pat Condell on A Society of Cowards

Condell brings perspective to the West's cowardly abandonment of its most cherished and hard-won freedom. He recalls the fatwa against Salman Rushie of 1988, and what a global scandal it was. People expressed solidarity en masse, and rushed to buy and publicize Rushdie's book. But today, the outrage has faded, and instead we blame the victim. Oh, sure, the terrorists shouldn't have shot/bombed/murdered/whatever, but it will all go away if we just shut our mouths. And we pump our fists in the air in celebration of our enlightenment and “tolerance”. Our sins will be visited on the next generation, who will reap the fruits of our craven surrender.

Wow, a man who’s not afraid to tell it like it is. Our acquiescence of of all things Islamic is nothing but pure unadulterated Cowardice. When will we stop with the bowing and groveling, and pick up the sword and say, no more! Well done Mr. Condell, well done.
