After the end of hostilities of WW2, there were isolated Japanese soldiers who either didn't get the word to surrender or simply refused to do so. Some continued to survive in hiding in island jungles for decades.
Ted Cruz displayed his like penchant to not surrender, perhaps effectively putting his political career in a kind of stasis, like a modern Lyndon LaRouche figure, where he will cite the injustices of the 2016 primaries for the next 30 years or so and going from Holiday Inn to Holiday Inn giving paid speeches and selling his latest book, autographed.
The narcissism is made worse in that he wants US to join him.
I voted for Ted in the WI primary. He won WI, but lost the delegate count and the rest is history. I now support Trump for the sake of the country. This is a mark of maturity. Something Ted Cruz appears to lack.
