Does the DB have a money tree growing out of some hidden orifice? from Gateway Pundit: On Thursday Obama Labor Secretary Hilda Solis announced a $2.2 million grant to strengthen labor unions in Haiti and Peru. The taxpayer money will fund projects organized by the AFL-CIO’s Solidarity Center.

It’s the Obama Administrations special way to say “Thank You” for the union’s support during the election.

How does the Labor Secy have authority to grant money to unions in other countries? Come to think of it, I don’t believe that she has authority to grant money to unions in this country, if she can, can she grant money to companies also? Because after all, the Labor Secy is supposed to be neutral between employees and management unless/until a wrong-doing is identified.
