Sept. 25, 1911, Gertrude Gibson Patterson, the Most Beautiful Woman in America, shot her husband twice in the back, killing him. Acquitted on self-defense claim of abusive husband, she was later visited at her hotel by 4 of the 12 male jurors. In spring of 1912, she took a European honeymoon with her new husband. Return sail was the Titanic. She died. Apparently Karma existed back then too.
