The girl was the victim of a lying-sack-of-snakes local Imam out for publicity. It nearly cost her her life. The family has had to remain in hiding for their safety even after it became public knowledge the charges were false.
Such false charges are often used against religious minorities or converts away from Islam (which is also a capital offense in the Islamic “republic”).
