With BHO losing, she will take a 2-week outside U.S. vacay in November, 1-week vacay for Thanksgiving in Hawaii, 1-week outside U.S. in December, 2-weeks in Hawaii for Christmas, and 1-week outside U.S. prior to leaving White House.
As professional liars have noted, it’s easier for an authority figure to get away with a blatant lie than a small distortion. Because everyone expects a bit of fudging, but they’re thrown off guard when you confidently issue a statement that’s flat-out false. There must be some misunderstanding, they’re thinking, he couldn’t have simply lied? No, there must be a benign explanation. And by the time the confusion has passed, the topic has moved on, and it seems like old news.
