Personally, I'm more concerned about indebtedness than tax hikes. That is to say, there's no triumph in preserving the tax cuts if we just continue to run up the debt until the dollar is wastepaper and the economy collapses. As ugly as it is, the alternatives to going off the cliff may be even worse. That's my opinion, anyway.
