Selective Service for women?

Charlie Rangel wants women required to register with Selective Service just as men are required. I have vast disagreements with just about everything that comes out of this man's mouth, but this particular idea is one I firmly believe that we need to implement if the driving concern of our military is more and more going to be making sure that women have the same career opportunities as men. For the sake of equality, women shouldn't be exempt from Selective Service if they're going to be considered equivalent to men with regard to career opportunities. After all, the justification for exempting women from Selective Service was precisely that they couldn't serve in combat roles, but that's been done away with.

So do away with women's exemption, or stop pretending that this is about equality, because it isn't.

    I say “Go For It!”

24 month conscription in the Military, not including Basic & Advance Training’s.

Side note: I have noticed newly minted 2nd Lieutenant woman seem to be pushing the NOW agenda, not the woman that have been in the military for a few years.

The Commander-In-Chief must be a Military Veteran also!
