The 45th World Economic Forum starts in Davos on Jan. 21, 2015. While we will be discussing the SOTU, bigwigs will be making deals in Davos in private that will have consequences for us.

    In Davos World Economic Forum news; WEF wants greater attendance by women (17% this year, 16% last year), so it offers delegations an extra slot if they bring at least one woman. Since private citizens can attend by paying the $40,000 fee, I assume that this refers to official government delegations. Maybe women are smarter to not drop 40k to attend this event? Anyway, an incentive to bring just one woman is pathetic and an insult to those women who are part of any delegation. Way to lead, Davos. Sounds like The Old Global Context.
