Thief sells priceless WW2 Airplane parts for scrap

In my area of Wisconsin, thieves will enter your property and steal vintage implements, cut them into pieces and sell them to scrap dealers for the going scrap iron rates. Thousands of dollars worth of irreplaceable vintage equipment is lost this way. In a new twist, a thief broke into a storage building and made off with aircraft parts needed to restore vintage WW2 aircraft. In many or most cases, it simply isn't possible to replace these parts as they aren't made any more and the cost to manufacture them from scratch is simply too costly. The thief was arrested after the parts were sold for scrap.
