Thunderbirds was one of my favorite shows as a little kid; its creator just died.

I too enjoyed Thunderbirds as a child. The miniture buildings and the models really made the show. He was also behind the sci fi series “Space 1999”. I believe “Team America” did a very good parody of his style. Sad to hear. Thanks Chuck.

You’re welcome. I was watching a couple of episodes of Thunderbirds last night, and I’m still amazed at the creativity, not only in the miniatures and the puppets, but also in the stories themselves. The music was also fantastic.

Indeed, he was also the creator of Space 1999 and many other shows.
