What’s behind Obama’s curious timing of Gitmo jihadist Omar Khadr’s release

Michelle Malkin: Please note, dear readers, that the Center for Constitutional Rights (to which White House visitor and Muslim Brotherhood community organizer Hisham Altalib donated a huge chunk of change) has been at the forefront of pressing for Khadr’s release.

I also remind you, dear readers, that CCR also crusaded for the release of Gitmo jihadist Abu Sufian bin Qumu — now the lead suspect in the bloody attack on our consulate in Benghazi.

And I remind you that this appeasement-addicted administration is reportedly weighing the release of the Blind Sheik, while clinging to the blame-the-video shield against accountability for the mess in Libya.

So: Why now?

Got to get all the important terrorists released before the attack against Israel. Assuming Obama loss, Israel will be attacked before Romney becomes President. That way Pres. O. can claim to help Israel while doing nothing substantive (eg, I’ve sent the Navy to the Region, I’ve spoken with Egyptian Pres. Morsi and he assures me that a mutual settlement will happen any year now, the Army is posted in Lebanon in case they are needed, etc. And O will add in, if only Bush hadn’t waged all those unpaid for wars, I could do more.)

Sorry, forgot to add; the Islamic terrorist leaders don’t care if they win this attack or not. Of course they won’t tell anyone that, especially their followers that they’ll send to their deaths. But the point of attack will be to deflect attention from Iran nuclear weapon. Assuming Romney becomes Pres. then he’ll have to deal with the aftermath of the war, and media will be trumpeting that Islamic terrorists are defeated, and Iran will continue to the nuclear finish.

I really wonder if Democrats have any idea what they’re signed up for. Will blaming a Republican President for the loss of Israel be worth it?
