Decaying rice puts methane (greenhouse gas) into the atmosphere. So a genetically modified (GM) rice plant has been developed that produces less methane gas. Now, I'm mostly in favor of GM plants but I recognize the hesitation, so the fact that the hoax of climate change is being used to promote GM plants, I find amusing. Hey environmentalists, is that a petard I see? One of the first actions that a new President/Environmental Secy should do is declare that CO2 is not a pollutant.
