UPDATE: Apparently the Hot Air post is only aportion of the interview. Hutsutraw from the MySpace page has been kind enough to post the entire 5+ minute segment at YouTube, which I have embeddedhere. Thank you Darlene.

Thanks to Ian at Hot Air for making the video available. I think the subject matter–the ability of Americans to have a legitimately honest media and the freedom to speak one’s mind without being targeted for annihilation by the New Gestapo–is of special importance. All of us rely on being able to express opinions and ideas that may contradict the status quo, challenge authority or the ruling class. Inevitably, those actions will offend someone, either through sloppy remarks or ideas being labeled ‘offensive’ because they confront power at the source.

This renewed attack on talk radio specifically has never been about ‘decency’ or minorities being ‘offended,’ it’s about one thing–the use of those arguments as slogans in an attempt to get Americans to ‘buy in’ to the idea that a Gestapo is needed to protect us from ourselves.

Europeans bought that argument in the 30s and 40s. Are we willing to go down that same road? I think not.

Thanks Ian for the coverage.

Thanks very much for all you are doing. This Censorship originates in the same socialism as did Hitler. Its not overstated to see the left is currently making their move to shut down all opposition and resistance.
Cliff Kincaid at Accuracy in Media in his article “How Hillary’s Hitman Got Imus” details the tentacles involved with Hillary, Media Matters, David Brock, Soros, and how the money gets moved around to pump the budget for Media Matters from 3.5 million start-up to its current 8.5 million budget.
We have to follow the money. And fight this cancer. Keep up the good Work! We are with all the way.

It’s fascinating to hear Tammy speak in detail about her personal experience with the behind-the-scenes network of ideologues whose fingerprints are on so many supposedly-objective news reports. I take every bit of news with a grain of salt, always thinking about whose agenda is being served and whose ox is being gored. These are difficult questions, because I don’t want to become insane and paranoid like the 9/11 “truthers”. But clearly there’s a big problem with the mainstream media. I guess that’s why I like talk radio. The hosts are up-front and open about their biases, and that’s refreshing in a world full of hidden agendas and stealth kooks.

WOW – what a segment! Thanks much to Hutsutraw for making the clip available…I missed the show when it aired and set my PVR to record the rebroadcast at 2AM, but it was bumped (understandably) for the VT coverage. Great work as always Tammy. Can’t wait to hear the details of O’Reilly’s piece unfold.
