Only because he’s reliant on what others tell him to say. If George Soros was better at throwing his voice, this would be less of an issue.

Teleprompting Obama

According to several Democrat political consultants presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Barack Obama spent part of his Hawaiian vacation working on weaning himself from a heavy dependence on teleprompters. Even in what are staged as “town hall” events for Obama, remarks are scripted or formatted into bullet points that scroll on teleprompter screens. Obama has had several embarrassing events where the teleprompter either malfunctioned or the screens were not fully visible.

“He just locks down and can’t get the words out,” says one political consultant. “For such a fine speaker, it’s really quite remarkable that he’s had issues.” [Hahahahahaha!]

Having problems, are we Hussein? One must consider what would happen in a high level White House meeting oh, say, when Russia, for example, invades a neighboring state. I mean, are there teleprompters in the meeting rooms so the Finger Puppet will know what to say off the cuff, in the moment, spontaneously? Hmmm…

I fantasize about hacking into B.O.’s teleprompter and putting a few truthful words into his mealy mouth.

OH! It all makes sense now!  The first piece of news on my computer screen this morning was regarding the Presidential debate schedule for the fall.  There are only three, but I was surprised to note that one of them is “town hall” style!  Now I understand why he was willing to agree to that.  I’m not sure how much practice will help in this case, since I doubt he can learn to rub two unrehearsed thoughts together.  I just don’t see evidence that he thinks on his feet well. . . oh heck, I don’t see evidence that he thinks very well sitting down either!

    “Issues?”

When a program or a piece of hardware in the computer world has “issues” they really mean it’s got serious problems or it’s junk. Maybe there’s a service pack coming for Barack. SR1 perhaps? B.O. 2.0?

It may just be that “O Man” doesn’t understand that the spirrit of ‘town hall meetings’ goes way back in our history. I wouldn’t expect hims to know that. After all, from his debut onto the political field, he’s only dealt with those less fortunate than himself. S, he treats everyone that way.

BTW: Possibility: Kerrey, as in Bob, would be a “K” benefit to “O Man”. I’d be disappointed in Bob Kerey if he did. But….

    Exactly.
Obama’s fumbling for impromptu answers is not a sign of poor speech abilities; it is a sign of lying. Without a teleprompter, answers arise in Barack’s mind, but he has to suppress them and then he stumbles trying to find an alternative that is acceptable to the audience.
Dad: “What did you do after school today?”
Son: “Um, er, I uh, went to the um,uh library to uh work on a um uh term paper.”
Dad: “I see. And what kind of beer were you drinking back in the woods?”
Dad isn’t fooled, and neither are we.
