Wow, another election involving women!

An election we can believe in: St. Pauli Girl

For more than 30 years, St. Pauli’s iconic brand mascot has been a real live version of the buxom lass that appears on the brew’s label. Traditionally, executives attached to the beer did the annual choosing of the woman who would pose as the St. Pauli Girl every year. But that’s all changing this time around. In conjunction with Maxim magazine, St. Pauli is inviting the public to vote for their favorite candidate to become the 2009 St. Pauli Girl…In alphabetical order, the finalists for the title are Jessica Hall, a model on NBC’s “Deal or No Deal”; Brooke Long, also a “Deal or No Deal” model; Tara Rice, a former Miss Teen California, and Katrina Van Derham, an international fashion model from Slovakia.

To participate in the actual voting, go to this Maxim/St. Pauli Girl Lager site. They’ll ask you to verify your age because the whole thing is related to alcohol.

Oh, I voted for the third woman from the left in the pic above, the Slovak (who’s proud to be an American btw 🙂

I voted for her, too. St. Pauli Girl is pretty horrendous beer, but I don’t have to drink it to want to see a pretty face on it. LOL

  3. Young American says:

Katarina hands down. She has the dimples and looks like she may have downed a few St. Paulis, I mean she looks very healthy 🙂

Holy smokes. As Tweety used to say, “Oh my doodness!”. Yeah, me, too. Yowzers. Uh, no way to choose. I’d want them all on the cans. Two of each in an 8 pack. Yes, definitely, the third from the left is, Drop. Dead. GORGEOUS. And the others aren’t? A thousandths of a percentage point separates each, figuratively speaking. Jeez. How to choose and disappoint the other three? I may have to pull an “Obama” and vote “present”. Wow. All are absolutely stunning.

Since there were no brunettes to pick from, Katarina got my vote. I’m a sucker for dimples and an accent.

  6. GenRach says:

After consulting with my husband, he concurs Tammy! We voted for her as well…Us Ladies are on a roll!!!!

  7. PeteRFNY says:

Yes, Katarina Van Derham got my vote as well, for all the reasons listed above and a dynamite pair of gams.

    I love 1940’s terminology! 😉
