    Hmmm, that line about the Slinky being “fun for a girl and a boy” sure dates it. I mean, nowadays we all know that girls and boys are the same, right? We wouldn’t want to impose any sort of structured roles upon them, would we?

    The way I see it, I’ll agree to having children on the condition that they are taught how to cook, clean, sew, shoot, weld, forge, fabricate, and fly an aircraft. Minimum.

    Boy or girl, they’re going to learn to do it all. I won’t force them to do any of them but I can use the things they enjoy as leaverage against the things they resist. After all is said and done they can choose what suits them best.

    If they want a car when they turn sixteen; they have to build it. >:) Yes we can!

    Awwwwww! Slinky Kitteh is fabulous. Pets like “Slinky” give us so much joy and ask for so little in return. I’d go so far as to say the average Kitty (or dog) is a better person than the average person (to paraphrase Andy Rooney).
