It looks like these boys need to re-learn a lesson or two.

McCain-Obama Meeting Set in Motion by Graham

The upcoming meeting between President-elect Barack Obama and his onetime rival Sen. John McCain was set in motion during a phone call over the weekend between Obama and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), McCain’s closest friend.

In an interview Friday, Graham said that Obama requested the meeting during a 20-minute phone call that the South Carolina senator described as a “pleasant” discussion about how they could work together effectively…Graham said that Obama raised the idea of “sitting down in a serious way with Senator McCain … where they can find common ground.” The details of the meeting were worked out between Graham and Obama’s new chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel…

He said the energy package drafted by a bipartisan group of 10 senators, including himself, could easily serve as a model for cooperation with the Obama administration — and something that McCain could help lead on.

Graham said that McCain and Obama are philosophically alike on budget reform, Social Security changes, earmark reform and immigration.

“If the administration wants to move forward with immigration again, I stand ready to do that,” Graham said.

Bring it on. We’re ready.

I guess they want to find out if the independent conservatives really exist.

I might as well move to San Fransisco… or Boston or Vermont…. ahhhhhhhhhhh NOT.

Makes me sort of happy that McCain didn’t win either. Let’s hope this country doesn’t veer off so bad for the next 2-4 yrs

Welcome to America. Would you like my house? Here, take my bed while you’re at it. I mean, everyone’s entitled to BE happy and not just pursue happiness…right?

Round ’em up and ship ’em home!

I think I am going to be sick … Is Berlusconi too fascist, or this ex-pat fantasy I’m having about moving to Italy just an escapist fantasy? (I have too many pets to seriously consider moving.)

We knew this would come up again even if McCain won. It’s a shame they will not push for energy exploration on our own soil as hard as they will try to shove Amnesty down our throats.

It was just 7 months ago when McCain tried to assure skeptical voters that he ‘got the message’ regarding Amnesty. Oh yeah? Well, looks like we get to remind him, Obama and Mr. Personification of Flatulence himself – Lindsey Graham – all over again.

I think this issue deserves a very loud protest from US! Let’s see just how powerful and threatening these senators & the president-elect really are when actually faced with the ire of the American people who are sick and tired of their crap. Let’s make them cry for mommy and their security blankie – that’s exactly what they will be like if WE confront them! I sure don’t want it the other way around.

Obama is doing what all liberal democrats do, he’s going for the weak link: McCain. He’ll reach out and get stabbed again. That’s what they expect. What they don’t expect is us. Well said Artgal.

I love Berlusconi. He says what he thinks and the Italian press freak out.

A McCain + BHO collaboration is bad for us – no matter what it is. This is BHO trying to look like he is bipartisan. What a joke. It’d be funny if it wasn’t so serious.

This gives props to CBS, but perhaps we can shame Fox into pushing the issue out to viewers. The kind of activity identified in this video is worrisome and actually is news. I hope Fox will put the hounds on this. Finally, why not encourage our popular culture stars to put in the same effort to stop drug use that was put into the election of OB45? That would be marvelous. How about a Michael Moore produced piece on how Hollywood uses drugs and sets the tone for the rest of America. Would Lionsgate take that on? Hope so.

Maybe I missed it, but nobody seems to have pointed out Obama’s “Yes we can” slogan is just another form of the Illegal Immigrant slogan “Si se puedes”, (“Yes you can”).

It is really simple: besides securing the borders of course there is all the free stuff they are here for. So deny all kinds of aid whatsoever to anyone who is here illegally. Do not allow them welfare, do not allow them drivers licenses, do not allow them to collect social security, do not allow them access to the emergency room, etc. It is absurd to allow them such things and then wonder why they come to America to begin with.

Let us see, poor oppressed people in dirt poor nation with nothing but to cross the border into America and you get free stuff??? It does not take a forensics major to figure this one out and that our so-called “leaders” in DC either cannot figure it out or refuse to do anything about it (if they can figure it out which in most cases I doubt), that tells us all we need to know about the quality of leadership in the “District of Corruption.”
