As Iran inches closer to all-out civil war because of brave individual citizens finally rejecting the corruption, tyranny, and terrorism they’ve endured our Dear leader apparently thinks what’s happening is part of the “election” process. This would include the fact that protesters are being shot in the street, govt thugs are using machetes to injure and kill, opposition candidates, their staff and supporters are being arrested, and foreign press is in lock down, effectively “confining journalists to their offices.”

Here’s The Once revealing his stunning ineptitude, pantywaisted cowardice and stunning ignorance of the Iranian terror state and its intentions.

In the meantime, here are some pictures of what Obama considers an “election.” WARNING: I’ve placed these after the jump because they are graphic.

I’m missing a detail here. We keep hearing that the opponent, Mousavi, is a “moderate”. But did he really represent any substantial change of course? I had the sense that he would just put a softer face on the same dangerous path. And even if he wanted to make changes, isn’t the president’s power subordinate to the “Supreme Leader”?

It would please me to hear Obama be less mealy-mouthed. He can’t even dredge up the rhetoric against these dirtbags that he’s got for Rush Limbaugh. But I’ve got to acknowledge that stronger words wouldn’t affect the internal Iranian situation. The riots will pass and the Supreme Leader will prevail. It seems inevitable that Iran will be on the giving end or the receiving end of some serious bombing.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! What an ass! He has “deep concerns” but doesn’t want to “meddle”?

That’s like watching your neighbor getting beaten and robbed and saying, “I really, really care about Joe, but I don’t want to meddle in what appears to be an exchange of property. We don’t have all the facts. But, I think Joe needs to be heard, I think Joe’s opinions should be respected. And, let me be clear….Joe is my neighbor. That is all I have to say. Any more questions?”

    What a piece of ****.

That’s the new doctrine of the left in America… that we don’t meddle, we don’t stand for freedom and democracy any longer.

Someone forgot to tell King Tut that being the president of the most powerful country in the free world brings with it certain obligations.

Apparently they didn’t teach that in Jakarta or Nairobi, or wherever the hell he spent his formative years.

Hey Barack, here’s the deal, those brave Iranians getting mowed down in the street because their votes didn’t count… THAT’s the real “Audacity of Hope”. Of course, you think it only has meaning to your ascendency to the throne.

Talkin horse: He is not “moderate” in the sense we think. He killed (or had killed) thousand of citizens in the 80’s. From what I read he wants to destroy Israel as well, he will just not say it aloud as the other guy (can;t spell his name) jeemmajob does…. all in all bad news for us either way.. The people are just craving for democracy and not necessarily him. Too bad Obama is a complete waste of space.

How very eloquent and Presidential. His commanding presence and his bearing are so very reassuring.

Lately, when the local news comes on and they get the opinion of some university figure on some subject, I listen very intently. Usually, the person has little or nothing to say, but thinks they’re sounding scholarly and that they’ve wowed us plebes with their vast knowledge of the subject.

Same here. The President has little of anything to say. He stumbles and, ah, tries to, ah, compose, on the spot, ah, something he thinks will, ah, sound good.
