Welcome to Hopey Changey Transparency, and an administration that seems it has more to hide each day.

Senators Lieberman and Collins took the action after being stonewalled for months by the Defense and Justice Departments about the Fort Hood terrorist massacre. At this point, we now have to wonder why Holder and other Obama gangsters dont want to cooperate on a matter involving a terrorist attack on one of our Army bases. On our own soil. Really–what exactly is the problem Urkel?

Obama administration subpoenaed in Fort Hood probe

Two U.S. lawmakers subpoenaed the Obama administration on Monday for information sought in a congressional probe of last year’s shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas, that left 13 soldiers dead and an Army psychiatrist charged with murder.

Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Joe Lieberman, an independent, and Susan Collins, the panel’s top Republican, took the action after the departments of Justice and Defense failed to provide the materials by Monday’s deadline.

The two senators have been trying for months to obtain documents and be provided access to witnesses that they say are critical to their investigation of the shooting spree at Fort Hood in November that ended with 13 soldiers killed and dozens wounded…In a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, who heads the Justice Department, and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Lieberman and Collins wrote: “It is impossible for us to avoid reaching the conclusion that the departments simply do not want to cooperate with our investigation.”

“It is with great disappointment and reluctance that we have directed service of subpoenas to you which demand disclosure of the requested information by Monday, April 26, 2010,” they added.

The Justice and Defense departments sent a letter last week to Lieberman and Collins saying that turning over the information could compromise the case against Hasan.

You see, this is what happens when you try terrorists as civilians. Whether it’s true or not, Obama’s gangsters can refuse to cooperate with even the Senate Homeland Security Committee in the name of “compromising the case.” Again, what exactly would be compromised by providing, even confidentially, information to senators regarding a terrorist attack on our soil?

No, you wouldn’t want to compromise the prosecution of an “alleged” criminal who was apprehended in the middle of a vicious killing spree that left 30 eyewitnesses wounded and tragically ended the lives of thirteen innocent people (fourteen if you count the unborn child of the expectant mother he murdered). Justice must be served after all.

As the murderer’s name grabs the headlines, let us all remember the names of his victims in our thoughts and in our prayers:

Michael Grant Cahill (the one civilian, a Physician Assistant)
    SSG Justin Michael DeCrow
    CPT John P. Gaffaney
    SPC Frederick Greene
    SPC Jason Dean Hunt
    SSG Amy Sue Kroeger
    PFC Aaron Thomas Nemelka
    PFC Michael S. Pearson
    CPT Russell Gilbert Seager
PFC Francheska Velez (and her baby)
    LTC Juanita L. Waxman
    PFC Kham See Xiong

May God bless the souls of these brave men and women whose lives were stolen so senselessly from the loving embrace of their family and friends. And may all those who yet mourn be granted the strength to bear the crushing burden of such unimaginable grief.

In Tammy’s 3rd Hour yesterday (19 April 2010) she recommended Marc Theissen’s Courting Disaster. Via my Kindle, I was able to sample the first chapter… and if anyone gets the chance to read a sample of the book, you should definitely give it a read. It is absolutely shocking at how Obama has DESTROYED this country’s ability to capture and interrogate the enemy.

The reason why he’s sending in the drones to kill as many of them from the air as possible is because we have NO MEANS to interrogate anyone we capture.

But go ahead and condemn tea partiers day after day because there was a sign somewhere that was kind of nasty and don’t forget that guy Timothy McVeigh who might have listened to the radio or something. Waaayyyy dangerous loonies out there with their beach chairs and flags at the town square singing patriotic songs. Be on the watch for these screwy extremists who could go over the edge at the very next syllable.

The Obama administration will relentlessly procecute any wrong doing, or corruption, as long as it is allegedly commited by:
    A Republican
    A Tea Party affilaite
    A professed conservative
A disgruntled taxpayer who dares express his frustration
    A “militia” member
Any body that supports anyone critical of the administration.
Any publication that points out embarassing facts about administration programs, proposals, laws, power grabs, assertions or what have you.

Here’s an idea-why doesn’t the Justice Department utilize the vast resources at it’s disposal and get the show on the road, as far as the trial is concerned? One of the things I find infuriating about our justice system is the length of time that it takes to even begin a trial. Other countries can have a guy like Hasan tried, convicted, appeals exhausted and executed in the length of time it takes us to even begin jury selection. I really think that a high profile case such as Mr. Hasan’s deserves “fast tracking” by the justice department. Get the trial underway, when he’s convicted, get his appeals priority status in the courts and get him executed within a year. We can do it-YES WE CAN! The question is, will the Obama Admin do it? The most likely answer is NO WE WON’T. Instead of expediting Hasan’s trip to meet Allah in person, which would allow Congress and the Administration to conduct inquiries as to what went wrong and possibly prevent future attacks, we’ll drag this on for years and refuse to release any information for fear it will compromise the prosecution of Hasan. In the mean time, we could very well have another similar attack. Unbelievable.

No surprise here. The godling and his prissy AG have to stall the investigation of what led to the Fort Hood Massacre so it doesn’t put a cog in Obama’s planned outreach to Arabs and Muslims. [So, trying the 9-11 butcher in New York of all places, isn’t showing the Muslims the love? Mmmm ka-ay.]

An investigation into the terrorist “man-caused disaster” causer, Army Major Hassan [or as Rachel MadCow prounces the butcher’s name, “Há-sin”–boy that doesn’t sound ethnic], a Muslim, would poop on the godling’s par-tay!

what the hell woke ms. collins, one of the rino zombie twin girls, up?

too little too late- what’s that on the horizon? an election year with a pissed off voter base?

it’s nearly half a year after the shootings. we know the lot of them have no compunctions about destroying this country economically, killing us with taxes and shredding the constitution but the very least we should expect from sitting congress persons of any persuasion is prompt effective action when american citizens, when american soldiers are murdered in cold blood on our own soil.

they don’t pledge to institute ‘ social and economic justice’ when taking office- they pledge to defend and uphold the constitution. oh and what’s that part about providing for the common defense? the first mandate of the federal government is to protect us. how ironic that we mostly need protection from them as they provide aid and comfort to those who like hussan would destroy us. obama’s justice department is actively involved in subverting our ability to fight against mass murderers which is all terrorists are- filthy loathsome cowardly killers whose specific political agenda and often stateless condition demands they be treated as other than common criminals. these congress tools better start stepping up and lashing this administration for their dereliction of duty rather than aiding and abetting their destructive agenda- no matter what it is. a little more checking less balancing please- lives depend on it.our republic depends on it. it is after all your job- defending the constitution and the people who establish it by common consent not defending and promoting obama’s pet agendas and depraved vision of the world.
