Good job Tennessee. While I wish he had been convicted of all four charges, we’ll take the two. A good reminder to liberals everywhere–gone are the days when you do not suffer repercussions for your actions. Expect your next message to that effect in November.

Palin E-Mail Hacker Convicted on 2 of 4 Charges

A Tennessee jury on Friday convicted the man who hacked Sarah Palin’s e-mail account on two of four charges — computer fraud and obstruction of justice. The panel did not find David Kernall not guilty of wire fraud. It deadlocked on an identity theft charge.

The former University of Tennessee student faced as much as 50 years for breaking into Palin’s e-mail while the former Alaska governor was the Republican vice presidential candidate in 2008.

The two charges for which Kendall was convicted — unlawful computer access and obstruction of justice — carried a combined maximum penalty of 25 years in prison and $500,000 in fines. It also calls for as much as eight years of supervised release, but it will be up to the judge to decide the sentence.

Prosecutors reserve the right to hold a new trial on the one charge for which they deadlocked.

oh please please prison time! it would be racist if a white boy didn’t face prison time because of who his daddy is and the color of his skin. i demand social justice in our clearly biased judicial system because if a black man or foreign born muslim did this to a white women they would be given the death penalty of something !

and who knows who his new daddy will be….. mmm mmm mmm….

Here in Tennessee, I am fed up with the Democrats getting away with anything they want, and the RINOS never doing anything about it. Many thanks to the prosecutors and to Sarah Palin for showing us how to handle this crap. I hope the Palin family sues for civil damages.

This is Tennessee. They’ve got more than 30 death row inmates who have been there for more than 20 years. The justice system in that state is as screwed up as you can get. My guess is that this punk gets probation and a small fine. He won’t serve a day in jail.

Unfortunately, you’re probably correct, Frank. I’d even imagine that the media will make him a “darling” on their staff…maybe a Fluffer for one of the talking heads…(did I actually type that? I must have contracted some of Tammy’s mini-tourettes!)
