BREAKING: President Obama will not release bin Laden photos
President Barack Obama does not plan to release photos of Osama bin Laden to prove his death, CBS News said on Twitter on Wednesday. Obama made the comment to “60 Minutes,” the network said.

NOTE: CBS has now changed the following story to reflect the comments being made by GOP Rep. Mike Rogers of Michigan. While the article itself has changed there is no stated correction by CBS which obviously hopes to just flush their mistake down the memory hole. So in the following element, it’s Rep. I’m just stunned. In his comments to CBS Obama paints a complete moral equivalence between our military and al-Qaida by noting:
“The risks of release outweigh the benefits,” he said. “Conspiracy theorists around the world will just claim the photos are doctored anyway, and there is a real risk that releasing the photos will only serve to inflame public opinion in the Middle East.”
“Imagine how the American people would react if Al Qaida killed one of our troops or military leaders, and put photos of the body on the internet,” he continued. “Osama bin Laden is not a trophy – he is dead and let’s now focus on continuing the fight until Al Qaida has been eliminated.”

Looks like the moment of respect and admiration I gave Obama is ending. We’re back to the typical dysfunction: Ludicrous assertions of moral equivalency, “sensitivity” to foreign fools and jerks, insensitivity to and contempt for the heartland. Too bad; I was honestly willing to give the guy the benefit of a “teachable moment”. Figured Obama might become something good and decent when he grew up. It happens. Remember that Ronald Reagan was something of a radical firebrand in his youth.
As for me Maynard, I ‘wanted to believe'(at least a extremely small, tiny bit…0.01%), but time and time again, his ACTIONS spoke of a different mindset, something, dare to say ‘alien’, and he never, ever earned my trust. Especially when he told ‘proveable lies’ or worse ‘lies by omission’ to the
American peoples face.
The final straws(both of which I didn’t want to read, but like a horror movie just couldn’t help myself) were, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage” and “Radical in Chief”. Here are two books, written and researched by scholars way above my pay grade. There’s every reason to be worried about America with him as President.
We have a seriously mentally ill President. That’s a bold statement, yes? He’s truly clinically delusional,and a pathological liar. No normal, well-adjusted person, in my experience, behaves this way in public. The Arrogance is breath-taking.
Trouble is: We ain’t seen NOTHING yet…

I think Michael Savage nailed it with his observation that “liberalism is a mental disorder”.
I hasten to add that I’m not exactly a pinnacle of sanity myself. But I think the “conservative” sort of dysfunction is more benign, in that we’re not so insistent that everyone else get dragged into our personal hell. I may think so-and-so is a jerk, but that’s the end of it. The problem with liberals is they’re not satisfied with merely condemning me; they’ve got to beat me into submission. This is justified by their moral supremacy, and by the glory of their cause.
And that’s why they are called PISSANTS(right, Tammy?) 😉

Bruce Rule: Though we wanted this, Obama wanted to kill OBL. That means beware. Why? It is for very bad motives. Perhaps it is a prop, or a means to distract us from something very bad.
I’m really liking the green water pistol under the dead guy! And we are being told no weapons were found! How goofy is that! The water pistol is right there in plain sight! No wonder Obama does not want these photos released!

I agree with Sarah Palin that showing the picture(s) would be a strong deterrent for the majority of Muslims, especially Arab Muslims who respect power and force most of all. It would say
“See? This is what happens to those who would harm America. It may take some time, but we will find you, and we will kill you.”
End of story.
So, now that the demand to see the birth certificate has all but stopped, O has “brilliantly” managed to create a new “Why won’t you release it?” scenario. It must make him feel soooo *powerful* that he holds on to something that millions of people cannot have. He is a real “piece of work” (*and* a “piece of expletive deleted!”)
