Tammy tweeted: “What does everyone think of #Pella as the hashtag for Undefeated on Tues? Shorter than others and salute to the town :)”

    #PELLA ~ perfect

    • JuanitaDugas says:

Sooo excited for Tammy and us TAMS that she’ll be in Pella, Iowa on Tuesday for 1st viewing of finished “Undefeated” movie with Sarah and Todd and hopefully huge crowds of Tea Party Patriots showing support in the town square. I agree #PELLA is the perfect hashtag. We TAMS will be waiting in the wings Tammy for the type, type, type, send, keeping us informed of the happenings. ;JD

    • chicky says:

      #PELLA – I concur RuBegonia. Chicky

Good morning TAMs! Man, this coffee is good. 🙂

Going to be a great week…Bristol on TBRS Monday and then the Iowa debut of The Undefeated. I can’t wait for the tweets/updates from Tammy; super happy she’ll be attending the event.

Listening to Palin report in a bit. Hope y’all have a fantastic day!

Looking forward to giant picture of Palin family on the front page of the Des Moines Register, and in the corner, thumbnails of Urkel and Bachman.

This is a great article over at American Thinker: Why Palin Can Win http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/06/why_palin_can_win.html

One of the most talked about subjects in politics is whether or not Sarah Palin will run for the presidency. It’s frankly anyone’s guess which direction she will go with her decision and when she will make the decision. However, if Palin doesn’t run it will be a disaster for the Republican Party and quite possibly the country.
    ………….

    • BostonBruin says:

What’s great about this article is that the author is saying exactly the same thing that Tammy said in her recent article on Big Government. If she doesn’t run, “the operatives in the media and Beltway establishment will have learned a fool-proof method of destroying any political opponent.” And she’ll win because the “the media has already shot all of their ammo” at her and she won’t be “handicapped by prior records of endorsing government-mandated healthcare or global warming hysteria.”

  9. naga5 says:

great news about palin being there, along with one tammy bruce!
downloading the palin report for the gym late this morning.
i think this will be a flashpoint. from the lame stream media’s view, who makes the biggest splash? they will vote with coverage and i think they LSM will cover palin. why cover bachmann’s announcement-she was already at a POTUS debate so she is confirming what everyone including bachmann herself already knows. that’s not news, that reassurance. its gonna kill urkel that he is going to be upstaged. like the meeting with netanyahu, i can hear him yelling at his staff, “what the eff was that?”
whether she announces or not is almost, irrelevant. palin commands the state of iowa during the campaign season without even announcing.
    midwest TAMs, game on!

The Weekend Palin Report random notes, comments, rank-speculation ‘n stuff:

Total full scale psychological political warfare will be declared by Palin when she announces on LABOR DAY. The Democrat-Media Complex(coined by Breitbart) will then have a complete, total and utter nervous/blogosphere breakdown/lockup and the DB sycophants and Repub candidates will either defect, resign, go into hiding under their desks or check into rehab. They’ve got nothing more to counter her, nothing, nada, zilch, zero.

She will use Energy Independence as her Main Talking point because it
links into the Economy, Unemployment, Debt to Foreign Nations, National Security, Unions and our Standard of Living.

10 debates after Labor Day; she’ll opt out of most at the very last second, and get more Media Coverage by NOT being there…the ‘cast a shadow over’ factor if she isn’t there, and it’s the ‘overshadowed by’ factor if she is there.

Gov. Rick Perry is the chairman of the RGA(29 state governors), he won’t run(too much baggage) BUT will get Palin unanimous support from all the Republican Governors and be rewarded with a position in the Palin Administration. This is important because they(the governors) have influence on the delegates to the convention. She will have enough to win the nomination, even if she doesn’t enter or win a single primary. (Not a PoliSci/Math Major so I could be wrong here.)

Rinse Repeatus, the Machine Operator, will resign, under pressure, and hopefully sooner rather than later, as the head of the RNC and be replaced by a Tea Party friendly Chairman because Rice Prebusus has been unable to hire for critical positions or recuit interns at the organization.

Bachmann on Fox News Sunday: Chris Wallace asks Bachmann: “Are you a flake?”

I’d like to hear him try that one on Sarah! She’d probably drum roll her fingers on the desk and give him a Cold-Blooded, Hard as Nails stare, and he’d press his finger to his earpiece, then clear his throat and his next question: “So, uh, how’s it goin’…?”

Sudan/Darfur?. I wouldn’t go either, no amount of shots and pills could prevent picking up some disease or parasite. Not to mention getting shot at by the insane Muslim Barbarians. Don’t tempt fate darlin’

I was ‘invited’ to jury duty in July. Thanks for the suggestion Tammy, I’ll bring my copy of your book! LOL!

Maybe someone should just drive “The Magic Bus” around with no one in it? Better idea, have an entire fleet of identical buses criss-crossing the country?

It’ll be a “The Podcast Fun Festival” this week! Rebel Yell!

    TAM Bookworm Book Report:
Breitbart has destroyed the facade of the Hollywood Drones in his book(which I just finished btw) and the 1st person account of the ACORN takedown is, alone, worth the price of the book. Highly Recommended.(There’s a shout out to Ms. Bruce in the acknowledgments)

Take Care, Travel Safe and thanks for being on-site for us TAMs, Tammy!

      “Rinse Repeatus” Lol!

    • _CarrieP says:

I always look forward to reading your cogent missives!

I applaud you taking a firm stance on your Labor Day announcement predictions, even in the midst of the “I wish she’d announce NOW” hysteria. You are beginning to sway me on that timeline, as much as I don’t want to wait until then. But I know that for everything there is a time and a season.

Pretty sad that I find I’m having to remind myself of the same thing I have to tell my 6-yr old: ‘practice your patience, practice your patience’ 🙂

Interesting & very plausible take on the Rick Perry angle, hadn’t thought of that one.

Rinse Repeatus, The Magic Bus…too funny!

Thanks for the always informative synopsis!

      Save travels Tammy!

That little Chippie at the end was PRICELESS. Of course, the Mama Grizzly dialogue from her video ALWAYS gives me chills and gets me excited. I am so PALINISTAM it’s not even funny. I need rehab.

  12. mytorpor says:

lawmom90…don’t check into rehab just yet! You will miss all the FUN that is coming our way. You will have plenty of time for rehab after the election, or better yet, after her eight years in the White House!

  13. sohali99 says:

Michelle Bachmann being asked by Chris Wallace if she is a flake? Priceless>
Tammy, when are you going to report on her “interesting” husband? I think he will be a huge liability once MSM gets hold of him.
He is in business to De-Gay the gays and he seems like he graduated from his own class himself. It’s going to be interesting, for sure.

  14. otlset says:

Despite the peril our country now faces, something inside tells me I’m lucky to be alive and witnessing events unfold. The same inner something that immediately “recognized” the incandescent specialness of Sarah Palin back in ’08 when I first heard of her, as if a herald of coming good.

Right in the midst of the media’s pre-election Obama-worship with allusions to him as some sort of “messiah” with religious overtones, Sarah Palin comes on the scene almost out of nowhere. I thought back then “Now THIS is a gift from God, not the poser the media is foisting on us.”

Such is the magnetism she has, the “charisma”, which draws people to her. There is something there, that people of good will can sense and joyfully identify with.

  15. CurliQ says:

Sarah Palin in….Iowa? Hmmmm. Unconventional to be sure.

  16. Maynard says:

I’m going off topic, but what the heck. There’s a huge industry of replacement windows, and a few years ago I got the bug to replace the old single-pane windows in my home. This is a much easier and quicker process than I would have expected…replacing a bunch of windows is a matter of a few hours. As with all new undertakings, I jumped into the fray with some recommendations and Internet research, but no personal wisdom. The premiere name seemed to be the Pella brand, which is in fact based in Pella. These are quality windows with real wood trim; the cheaper brands have vinyl trim. I figured if I was going to do it, I should do it right, with Pella. Problem was, the Pella windows were so costly that I couldn’t do the entire place. So I selected the front-facing and other critical windows and installed Pellas. I figured I was done, but I liked the results and quickly got the itch to do something about the remaining windows. I got a price quote from a recommended contractor and replaced everything else with cheaper Milgard vinyl windows. After having done all that, I was finally in a position to have something closer to an intelligent opinion. You want to know what I learned? I actually like the utility of the vinyl windows better. They slide easily, and they seem to block slightly more sound. (A major motivation on my part was to acoustically insulate my home. In this respect, I’m very happy with the results.) However, the Pella windows look a lot more like traditional windows. In fact, I’ve had solicitors come by and try to sell me replacement windows because they thought my Pella windows were original. You can instantly identify a vinyl window. So maybe I did a good thing by fitting my facade with Pella, thus keeping up apperances. The entire adventure was, as are most of my adventures, haphazard. Now you have the benefit of my learning curve, which came to me too late in the game to do me any good.

This all came to mind, of course, with the reference to Pella.

  17. BostonBruin says:

News flash!! Jedediah Bila just tweeted that she’s heading to Pella too! First NYC, now Pella for a TB/JB summit! The big question is: will you have dessert at the cookout? Go for it!

  18. jeaneeinabottle says:

It was nice of Tammy to warn Bachmann, I hope she see’s it for what it is.

  19. sohali99 says:

The Dems are not covering Bachmann per Fox News and are not planning a video rebuttal like they did with Romney and Pawlenty. They feel she has no legs outside of Iowa.

  20. Jeffrey says:

VERY SATISFYING! You know- there’s nothing quite like a good (you can fill that in according to personal taste) PALIN REPORT! In a nod to Tammy this week, I went for the lounge favorite- A Mojito instead of my usual fix, vino blanca… Delicious! But they do go down like Kool Aid and you have to pace yourself or you find yourself wondering what she just said! I’ll miss you on the regular schedule but I’m sure Rush will enjoy that 3rd hour bumb on the Talkstreamlive chart?

Safe travel and God speed to TAMPELA! Can’t wait to hear from you 🙂

  21. sodakhic says:

So looking forward, Tammy, to your reporting from Pella.

  22. BostonBruin says:

Bachmann drew a crowd of “roughly 200 people” to her announcement rally today in Iowa. So, we have 300 showing up at the Pella Opera house for “The Undefeated”, and I’m sure they could have sold a lot more tickets if the seating was greater.
These are the types of numbers that people need to focus on – not polls!
