As for me, listening to Tammy on Commercial Driven Radio is all the more reason to support her web program. The inane ads drove me crazy.

What a fabulous job, Tammy!! You sounded super alert for someone who is not a morning person. Funny as hell, on target, gracious, brilliant, and just the right balance of Tammy unplugged & propriety for the commercial airwaves.

    Looking forward to more….

  3. LJZumpano says:

I could get used to Tammy in the morning. But the commercial breaks, ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!
TAMs really are spoiled since you went commando. Like to hear Tammy without interruptions!!!

  4. 1ntbtn says:

I love Tammy here on the east coast in the morning, but I am totally spoiled by not having commercials. You did a great job,Tammy, thank you. an avid TAM Lyn 8/2 1:40 EST P.S. do you like the picture of my dog Chloe?

  5. Rogue2012 says:

Why am I listening to Laura in a taped (pre-recorded) conversation? Where is Tammy? I tuned in for Tammy and I am hearing Laura.

  6. Trish S says:

I’ve never heard Tammy on the radio before. She sounded great, and man, is her point of view needed on the airwaves! I listened to a few minutes of Rush today, and he was quiet, morose and talking about inevitable economic collapse. I consider Rusb more establishment radio, and even he is catching on. He said America is based on a ponzi scheme. So, hearing Tammy and being warned ahead of time, her head explosions on behalf of all of her TAMS, and her positive agenda of how we can move forward and do our best, is something I really appreciate. More TAMS will follow. Rock on, Tammy. You are FIERCE!

I tried πŸ™‚ I’ve found I need the first day to get used to it then the second day I’m comfortable with the timing and the format. Glad I have more than one or two days this time!

  8. Maynard says:

Interesting times we live in. This situation is weird in that the Democrats are already scrambling for damage control. A signing like this would usually be upbeat, but instead Obama is casting it in a sour note (“manufactured crisis”, he said), and Democrat leaders are blaming the Tea Party, which Joe Biden likened to “terrorists”. Which is obvious nonsense…Had Obama wanted to avert the “manufactured crisis”, he could have had his Democrat majority pass the increase in the debt ceiling last year. If it was truly the right thing to do, he should have done it. But he left it for the Republicans as a political calculation, knowing that some sort of deal would be made to avoid default, which would then allow him to claim the Republicans were complicit in his insane spending spree. So to the extent that this is manufactured, Obama laid the foundation with his own hands. And now Obama’s crying because the Republicans dared to point out the unsustainable nature of the debt, and he’s cursing the Tea Party, the only people on the scene that had nothing to do with creating the problem in the first place, and whose call is simply that the government live within its means and respect the boundaries of the Constitution.

  9. radargeek says:

There are some things we can learn from this Debt Theater and Drama:
The dims and the left are caught in their own catch-22. They claimed that the US would loose their S&P triple A (AAA) rating if they do not spend more borrowed money to make good on the interest of the debt, but also did not realize that they will lose the AAA rating because our debt will go up beyond the +14 trillion the nation currently owes. The nation will go into the unsustainable frontier.
Since the dims and lap-dog media control the wording: the term “revenue” is code for “taxes.” It sounds like the government is in business. Of course, the government will never say that because their form of revenue never translates into profits that can be given back to the people.
You never heard anyone talk about defunding obamauncare.
Again, the first thing the dim-wits wanted to threaten to not pay if this crap was not passed was Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and military pay. Some of the programs are supposed to be funded by the peoples contributions into the government ponzi scheme. What they would not consider was downsizing government and their own paychecks. Great example of leadership we have up there in DC! Not!

Many over at C4P are happy to hear you, we have all been turned off by laura Ingrahams attitude, and right out of the shoot this morning you gave Sarah some huge props. Maybe tommorow you can play some of Sarahs soundbites from Hannity tonight, heads will explode over at MSLSD.

  11. _CarrieP says:

I am so glad that I cooled off some and decided to hold off canceling my subscription to Laura Ingraham’s show. That enabled me to have the pleasure of hearing Tammy commercial-free today via Laura’s podcast – Please TAMs, don’t be haters! πŸ™‚ But it almost wasn’t so…

I was so fuming mad at Laura during this debt debacle, and I mean FUMING mad, especially last week! Friday night after listening to her podcast, I sent her an e-mail in the form of a ‘Tammy head explosion’ on paper.

I reminded “Miss Establishment who likes to masquerade as a TEA Party supporter when it suits her” of the time when she went ballistic with a congressman on her show a few months ago during the planned parenthood nonsense. She was pounding her fists and telling this person that she was going to scream if she heard one more congressman say that “the Republicans only control one-half of one-third of government” and how she asked him what happened to standing on principle.

Oh yes, ladies & gentlemen, Laura said that and I remember it very, very well, although to listen to her last week you’d bet money she’d never uttered those words. Funny how quickly she became the “we only control one-half of one-third” parrot.

I also reminded “Miss Establishment” that the TEA Party patriots GAVE the Republicans the majority in the House, GAVE cry-baby Boehner his freakin’ speakership AND more importantly, these representatives were sent to Washington, DC to do EXACTLY what they are doing. I told her I was truly disgusted with her pompous, condescending, hypocritical attitude toward those TEA Party patriots standing on principle.

I concluded my e-mail rant by telling Laura that I came very close to cancelling my subscription – was on the very page on her website about to do just that – when a happy, happy feeling came over me through that sea of red I was seeing, causing me to stop what I was about to do.

Was that happy feeling about rainbows & unicorns? Was it about puppy dogs and blue skies? Nope. It was the sheer joy and pleasure I knew I’d have listening to her show the day Sarah Palin announces she’s running for president, the day she wins the nomination and every freakin’ day thereafter…and for the next 8 years of a Palin presidency!! I decided that getting to hear her squirm was well worth the price of admission!

I also added a little “P.S.”, telling her that a “bonus” just occurred to me on the merits of not canceling my subscription – that I get to hear Tammy Bruce fill in for her every once in awhile – ahhh, like icing on the “happy thoughts” cake!

    • DirtyPaw says:

Hello _CarrieP, you should post that email to Laura. I for one would be interested in reading its contents.

      Blessings…

    • niner says:

Good post Carrie I too have e-mailed and taken laura to task for her phoney establishment anti-TeaParty, anti-Sarah Palin stances. Just as we have Michelle Bachmann a Palin copy cat,(Mini-me as she is known) Laura Ingraham is a Ann Coulter copy cat, she takes direction from Ann. She became a slash Rino pro Christie lover like Ann, and a Boenhner/Romney lover as well, and if it is convienant as to bash Sarah Palin she gives alot of love to Bachmann.

  13. wodiej says:

not an Ingraham subscriber but it sounds like you were rockin’ on the show yesterday.

    • jeaneeinabottle says:

Omg I have never heard Rush like that before!! He sounded all over the place, unsure, trying to explain what was going on but he couldn’t because he doesn’t see the GOP/rep as they truly are, he tells the truth and he couldn’t so he sounded weird. He needs to do the research himself and then he would see who these ppl are. Strange day today, every time Tammy came on, the site would buffer and I would miss whole chunks of what she was saying. Tammy your voice was high today, never heard it that high. Did anyone notice on some shows that played Gov Palins video her voice was shrill? Now her voice was not that way last night, the clips were awful too, had her at a weird angle and in the middle of a sentence. Maybe it’s me, my insomnia is really bad this week.

  14. DirtyPaw says:

I am not complaining, but, in these difficult financial times it is not fiscally responsible for me to belong to all the different wonderful talk conservative websites. Even though I would like too and be able to chat on Ms. Bruce’s site we have been hit hard financially, but who the heck hasn’t? Oh, maybe Obama still has lots of our tax dollars to fritter away on his party’s and wife’s trips. It is just criminal what this man is doing to this great country…

Love you on Laura’s radio program Tammy, thanks for filling in. God’s speed to our military!

Shoot, if an unwatchable pretentious liberal cornball like Christopher Hayes can get his own show (MSNBC natch), Tammy Bruce’s TV show “Livewire” would be a ratings winner! With cameos from Syd and Snoop!

  16. LJZumpano says:

Your mention of the daily hotline postings, in the old pre-internet days hit me like a shot. How I rememeber the phone banks, letter writing campaigns and letter to the editor campaigns. The special private phone lines we tried to keep secret from the opposition where we would pick up new talking points for the day. No cell phones, no pagers,a home phone, a typewriter and a local print shop were our tools. We didn’t have money, but we had passion and a worthy cause. We couldn’t do everything, but we did as much as we possibly could. Even managed to create a new political party in New York State.
That is part of the reason why I believe Gov Palin can not only get the nomination, but actually win the POTUS spot. I see that same passion and worthy cause today. I feel the determination of her supporters. She is ready to lead, her only question is are we ready to follow her. She will take positions on issues and lay out plans with which we may not always agree. She needs to know we trust her judgement and will not turn against her. We are all on fire. She has to be confident she can direct that fire in the right direction. Her statements last night soothed and calmed a lot of angry, hurting TEA folk. I could see the change immediately on twitter.
There is a powerful force which is pent up right now. Her announcement will release a fury. She will have to control it and use it for the good. And she will need our help. She must be able to depend upon us. If she agrees to take up the challenge, I am willing to put aside my unruly independence and become a foot soldier in her campaign, and I cherish my unruly independence.

Enjoyed your “subbing in” for Laura today (and yesterday)!!
Just one thing–your research team needs to re-check the info on Charles Krauthammer. He didn’t work for Jimmy (my name is Earl) Carter; he was a speech writer for Mondale. Then he, like you, Dennis Prager, Bill Bennett and other brilliants, saw the light and joined the Conservative movement.

    • Tammy says:

Thank you very much! Glad you’re here. And you are right, Krauthammer did work for Mondale, but he left his practice and first worked for Carter πŸ™‚

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Krauthammer

In 1978, Krauthammer quit the practice of psychiatry and came to Washington to direct planning in psychiatric research under the Carter administration. He began contributing articles about politics to The New Republic and in 1980 served as a speech writer to Vice President Walter Mondale.

  18. conservative wildwoman says:

    Hey Carrie P,
I feel your passion and loyalty–but PLEASE, let’s not become like the libs and the Pelosi-ites and tear apart our own. Aren’t we the patriots who stand for the Constitution (unlike the harpies of the left) and respect, rather than denigrate those who may have a different view. I for one support Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, and SRN hosts Bill Bennett, Dennis Prager etc–and they all supported the Boehner bill. No, it’s NOT perfect or what we want, BUT if we can just dump the current WH “tenant” and take over the Senate, we CAN do it all. But until we get both feet (or feets as the “Hahvahd” grad Obama states it) in the door, we take one battle ground at a time. We do NOT want a Pyrrhic victory; had that with Christine O’Donnell etc

Lauras show comes on early 6 am but its a great way to start the day. I like the way you lace the program with SP clips and comments. Soon she will be the bigger news as soon as she makes it official. I watched Michelle Malkins interview with Hannity and you can see first hand when someone is behind the Gov. like us all.Looking foward to the upcoming rally and yor report…Sarah Palin 2012 and beyond…

  22. niner says:

Tammy is authentic like Sarah Palin and it shows with her TV appearances and with her radio shows. Maybe someday Tammy will have her own TV show as well as radio, Tammy is the voice of reason.

  23. ffigtree says:

Well darn it. Leave me alone for two minutes on the computer and I manage to push a button preventing me from streaming live on talk stream live. Must get this fixed before Monday! Enjoying chat though! πŸ™‚

  24. mindidawn says:

Oh good, now I know what to do in the morning instead of watching boring TV shows. Will be tuning in tomorrow. I am a so far behind on your podcasts 6/28- that it will be nice to hear the news in it’s current form.

You know what I’d like to see Tammy, You, Ann,Laura, Sarah, Jedi and other Conservative Super Women start a group to inspire and tap into the issues of the country. You each are heard individually, together, especially before the next election you have Power as a Group…

  27. BarbaraM says:

It is FUN listening to Tammy read a live commercial…!
Postage- get a digital scale, but you don’t want to get on it…LOL LOL!

  28. Floozy says:

I have been really enjoying Tammy filling in for Laura, especially since Laura started the week telling me how great we made out on the debt deal and then Tammy comes on telling us we got hosed. It seems like we could have had better deals earlier in the process and we passed on them to take something worse.

But most of all this morning I liked the comments about the calls for amendments to the Constitution. I’ve generally supported the balanced budget one but have always had concerns. The big concern is that we will end up with something that will turn out different than we expect. The country was sold an income tax amendment with the talk that it would only ever apply to the very rich and that it would never go above 10%. Supposedly they didn’t put the 10% limit in because it was thought that by doing so, it would encourage the government to move quickly to 10%. Instead, they quickly moved past 10%. A balanced budget amendment would be a tricky thing and easily could be a bigger problem than it fixes.

    The Tammy(Laura)Show Week in Review:

Pros: Tammy showing her serious, real time broadcasting chops, talent and overall flexibility dealing with those “Producers”. Listening to Tammy ‘K-A’ during my drive time and still getting some quality TAM Chatroom time. Giving Laura’s audience a taste of political medicine they didn’t know they needed.

Cons: Interrupting her train of thought when coming up against hard commercial breaks; the annoying taped Laura segments. Having to get up really early in the morning to do the show. Dealing with those “Producers” protecting the ‘Laura Brand’.

Tammy was right on target by NOT doing the 1 day fill in shows for her on the holidays. Just when you get up to speed, it’s over. And BTW, Tammy doing 2 hours straight on the interwebtubes is, once you think about it, amazing work!…
    Just can’t stop talking! LOL!

She Rocked the House this Week! Rebel Yell!
