(Via Ace of Spades) One is a fake president who goes on as many television shows as possible making a mockery of the presidency because fame=importance. The other guy is actually impressive, is a businessman and knows what he’s doing. Plus bonus–he likes us and this country!
This RNC ad “A Tale Of Two Leaders” takes clips from Obama’s pathetic appearance on the Fallon show and compares to Romney’s victory night speech. Yeah, one of these things is not like the other. I especially like the ending Twitter hashtag #NotFunny.
Seriously! What a dumb bastard (yeah I’ll say it). What an embarrassment to our country! I can’t stand Romney, but I stand with Tammy and Brietbart!! We have to get this guy out of the White House. If for nothing else than to stop the bleeding! We are in triage mode right now folks and it’s time to start acting like adults and pull up our diapers and stop whining. We need to work on the down tickets and in so doing get people to the polls. While they are at it, they just might go ahead and pull that leaver for Romney too.
While I’m here, I might as well say that I’m just about to start unfollowing smug Romney supporters, and whiney babies that are going to stay home and pout! Besides, it will unclutter my time line and I like small gatherings with good, close friends and not huge parties with hundreds of people, half of which you don’t even like! Arghhh! I looked at the pic of the DB and Jimmy Fallon, and read Tammy’s question: “which one of these two things looks like a president if you had one?” So I immediately thought, “Fallon looks kinda presidential” 🙂
It is inappropriate for the President of the United States to go on late night TV shows to do lame comedy routines. It is inappropriate for him to get involved in the March Brackets. Can we expect him at Open Mic Night at Caroline’s Comedy Club? Maybe he could host SNL? How about guest announcer at Opening Day at Yankees Stadium? Hey,as Cyndi Lauper sang, Presidents Just Wanna Have Fun !
Piggy-backing onto Shifra’s comment, maybe the DB could sing the National Anthem at next year’s Super Bowl.

Tammy, girl, quit procrastinating and get that tooth fixed. Time for the root canal. The pain will go away. Been there, done that, several times. It’ll all be over in 30-45 minutes. Each time root canal was done through a new crown – which did not make me happy, drilling holes in my brand new dental appliance. None of the crowns broke during the procedure, though. Novocaine wears off, and no pain. Say, ahhhhhh……. that’s better.

Isn’t this a rather transparent political ad run under the guise of entertainment? Democrats always get softball appearances on entertainment shows in addition to favorable bias on the news shows. They ought to come under the campaign finance laws the Democrats are so fond of.
It happens all the time. One of the more preposterous examples is this: Years ago here in Michigan, Debbie Stabenow had a rough primary campaign using up all her money to become the Democrat nominee for the U.S. Senate. She was out of money until public funding kicked in for the general. I confess to occasionally listening to NPR on the drive to work in the morning. (Don’t give me any grief about this. I keep up with the other side’s sources all the time.) I’m hearing what sounds like an agricultural report about a problem with the potato crops. Strange, I thought. I checked the channel, yep it was NPR. When the report finished the announcer said, “This was a press release from the campaign office of Debbie Stabenow. Ms. Stabenow is running for the Senate seat currently held by Spencer Abraham.” A few days later NPR is running a story about a study on obesity in America. I recalled hearing about that study a month earlier. It was not timely news. When the story ended the announcer said, “This was a press release from the campaign office of Debbie Stabenow. Ms. Stabenow is running for the U.S. Senate and is an advocate for a patients bill of rights.”
Ms. Stabenow had no money to spend on advertising during the summer. NPR was helping out by reading “press releases” from her office on general topics with a few words about Ms. Stabenow and her political positions. They were essentially running free ads.
In dictatorial countries the media are intimidated to stick to a propaganda line. In America, they do it willingly.
There’s always a double standard. The case that overturned McCain-Feingold, Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission (see website), comes to mind. Citizens United had made a film critical of Hillary Clinton, who was at the time a likely candidate for president. When they tried to advertise their movie, the government took them to court for illegal “electioneering communications”. Why didn’t the Feds go after films like “Fahrenheit 911”? Of course, we would never have expected them to do so; that’s not the way our minds work (except to the extent that I object to taxpayers being forced to fund our opposition…let them spread their rancid ideology on their own nickel). So SCOTUS tells the Feds that, yes, Americans are allowed to make a film critical of a powerful politician, and they can’t be jailed for doing so. Seems pretty basic to me. And then Obama scolds the Court for favoring corporations and foreigners, and his foot soldiers repeat the meme as if it made any sense. Our nation has become a madhouse. It’s a tragedy.
I heard an add, I believe by the RNC (establishment-rinos) on a conservative radio station, I was shocked when I heard (paraphrasing): Whoever Romney chooses as VP; Rubio, or … let’s no make the same mistake again. Meaning Sarah Palin!
Now that Romneys’ our guy, we need to hold his feet to the fire, he needs to distance himself from the establishment/rinos.However,I’m concerned, he was really never vetted in the primaries, would refuse to be interviewed on conservative talk shows that had solid questions/concerns (no kiss-ass). Sorry, but I’m not whining,I’m very concerned of the bait & switch, I pray that we true conservatives will hold him accountable & that he will serve the will of The People, not his own ideologies. I come from a communist country & my heart breaks for what is happeining to this great nation I love, it’s critical we do everything in our power to protect her.
I hope Mitt Romney stays off these type of shows. Saturday Night Live didn’t do Sarah Palin any favors. I am cautiously optimistic about Romney. Even in Chicago on the radio they are calling him ’45’ as in 45th POTUS.
Let’s face it, the far 30% Right and 28% Left will not change their minds. It all will come to the middle 42%, and who actually gets out and goes to the polls.
I have talked to many people who have said they voted for Obama, and are sorry, and will vote for the Republican. But I have not talked to anyone who had voted for McCain and are sorry, and will vote for Obama.
