Pathetic. Earlier today she made it quite clear that the leaks are coming from the White House. No equivocation whatsoever. And now?

Sen. Dianne Feinstein said Tuesday that she shouldn’t have speculated about leaks coming from the White House, walking back hear earlier comments that the White House was partly responsible for the leak of national security information.

The California Democrat, who chairs of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said she regretted speculating about the White House’s role in leaks relating to national security.

“I was asked [at the World Affairs Council on Monday] whether the White House might be responsible for recent national security leaks. I stated that I did not believe the president leaked classified information. I shouldn’t have speculated beyond that, because the fact of the matter is I don’t know the source of the leaks,” Feinstein said in her statement.

Feinstein is currently the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee. She would know where the leaks are coming from. Perhaps her comments were a warning to the White House, but as I noted on Tammy Radio today, the leaking of classified national security secrets warrants a Special Investigator. If Feinstein is limited to playing ‘gotcha’ games in public to get a president of her own party to act properly, you know we’re all in a lot of trouble. Here are her comments which make it clear what the situation is.

Via RCP:

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Cali.) states that the national security leaks did indeed come from the White House.

“I think the White House has to understand that some of this is coming from its ranks. I don’t know specifically where, but I think they have to begin to understand that and do something about it,” Feinstein said.

A Democrat that some liberals like to compare BHO to, co-authored a book titled Profiles in Courage. Now it’s books whose theme is, Profiles in Me.

If Democrats long for Camelot, it’s because they have fallen a long way from it.

That is sad. What a disappointing finish to her congressional career.

“because the fact of the matter is I don’t know the source of the leaks,” Feinstein said in her statement. This coming from the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Isn’t in her job description to know these things?

And El Presidente’ has a short leash on her collar, doesn’t he?

Congratulations to the Voters of California! You elected an incompetent fool, but what else is new? Brown, Boxer and Feinstein: The Political Three Stooges.

Cowardly! Sounds as tho she doesn’t want to ask the right questions to find the right answer(s) to the leak problem.

It’s ‘Willful Ignorance’ and plenty of fake conservatives and RINOs are there in the same boat with her. They are afraid to face the facts.

Just like the Dumb Bastard exposed his true self with Joe the Plumber and last week’s small business moment of truth, DiFi spoke with rare candor and was hauled to the woodshead by Axeldouche, no doubt.

This is what passes for liberal courage.

“I shouldn’t have” … But she did. Feinstein has been around the block a few times. I do often listen to her with a respectful ear. One of a few Democrats worthy of occasional deference. Politics inside politics..inside politics. Another tailspin.

It’s corrupt. Cowardly and corrupt. And it’s dereliction of duty.

Here’s a synopsis of how I’ve pictured things going with ALL of the Dems who’ve publicly said something they’ve had to walk back and have received ‘the call’:

Obama campaign war room: “Can you believe what that a** just said on tv? They must be dealt with right away.”

Obama campaign calls Rahm Emanuel: “We need ‘the fish head file’ on ______.

Obama campaign receives & reads ‘the fish head file’

Obama campaign calls ‘bad’ Dem: “Yes, we know that you did _______ and _____ and _______. And if you don’t get your a** out there right now and fix your ‘f’ up, your spouse and the entire will know about it too.”

‘Bad’ Dem: Calls press conference/releases statement/gets on tv somehow and retracts previous statement.

    End of story.

Could someone please tell the D.F.B. that this National Security Leaks thing is a B.F.D. ?

Isn’t there some kind of warning light that comes on in DC when leaders relentlessly weaken us by way of intelligence leaks, dependance on foreign energy, a toxic business climate and incapacitating debt? If we were a car we’d be waiting for the tow truck.
