Two more Americans have been kidnapped Hillary, and you want to show them support? Unbelievable.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will urge Egypt’s civilian and military leaders to work together tocomplete a full transition to democratic rule, senior US officials said on Saturday.

Clinton arrived in Cairo to meet Egypt’s newly-elected Islamist President Mohamed Mursi on Saturday and military chief Field Marshall Hussein Tantawi on Sunday, two of the central players in the power struggle playing out in the country.

“She is going to say, you have to stick with it. You have to keep going,” a senior US official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told reporters travelling with Clinton.

“It is crucial that all of the stakeholders who need and have a voice in Egypt’s transition engage in a dialogue to answer the complicated questions around parliament and the constitution.

“So she will encourage Tantawi, as she will encourage Mursi, and civil society, to engage in that dialogue and to avoid the kinds of confrontation that could potentially lead to the transition veering off track,” the official added.

In the minds of Democrats, hostage taking is a tradition in primitive cultures that goes back hundreds of years, and historically they’d be right. They (Democrats) see it as a negotiating tactic, I imagine. The thing is I can’t remember the last time Egypt did or tolerated this sort of thing. It’s been a long time. So it seems like there should be more reticence to say, “Go ahead with democracy,” right now.

The thing is, I don’t know that the Bush Admin’s response would’ve been any different. I can remember when some (more) radicalized elements in the Palestinian territory won elections several years ago that the Bush Admin. accepted the results, and said, “Now they’ll have to produce results.” From what I’ve heard, Abbass remains as committed as ever to wiping Israel off the map. I’m not getting the impression that democracy has given them any great wake-up call.

It’s like where I live. No matter how many times Democratic politicians fail to live up to the far left’s expectations, the Democrats are always able to blame their non-performance on someone else. Their constituents seem to fall for it every single time, and re-elect them.

One of the two is a minister. Why should we think that they’d respect the clergy when they’re killing Coptics?

Hillary this is all too typical of you and the Dumb Bastard’s ‘reset’ politics and policies.

Update from Yahoo News(3 hours ago…):

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was taunted by chants of “Monica, Monica” by tomato-throwing demonstrators as she visited the Egyptian port city of Alexandria on Sunday.

The chants, referring to the Monica Lewinsky scandal when her husband, Bill Clinton, was president, were heard outside the US consulate as she visited for its reopening.

An embarrassed Egyptian security official said they were chanting “Monica, Monica” and “Irhal, Clinton” (Get out, Clinton.)

Tomatoes, shoes and a water bottle were thrown at part of Clinton’s motorcade as it pulled up, protected by riot police, although a US official said Clinton’s own vehicle was not hit.

I’m glad to see the US is again respected throughout the world since President Bush left office. Instead of throwing shoes at our POTUS, the islamicfreaks are throwing them at our USSOS. Now that’s an improvement we can believe in!

When I made my tomato tomahto comment above, I didn’t realize that Egypt’s Islamists would follow up.

Good thing I didn’t use another analogy (you say manure, I say camel dung).
