I discussed this on the Laura Ingraham show and was concerned that leftists might try to hurt his business. So, we encouraged you to support Crumb & Get It if possible. Well, looks like we weren’t the only ones. Business has never been better for this new little bakery! The phone are ringing off the hook and they are getting support from across the country. Another example of our grassroots revolution!

One of the very smart things supporters out of the area are doing is placing bakery orders and asking for the goods to be delivered to local vet groups, homeless shelters, etc. I love us!

One man in Radford is being called the next “Joe the Plumber.” He owns a bakery, but he’s becoming known fast as the man who said “no” to the Vice President.

Since saying ‘no to Joe,’ “Chris the Baker” is baking like a crazy man. It’s been 24 hours since Chris McMurray said “no” to a photo op with Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday…

And his Radford bakery, “Crumb and Get It” has been slammed ever since.

“It’s been a great response,” McMurray said from his store Thursday. “The overwhelming majority of people have been supportive and calls from Texas and Chicago and California. Ordering cookies and telling us to send ‘em to veterans and homeless shelters. It’s been incredible.”

McMurray’s been in business only three months. Saying “no” to Joe, may have been the best business decision he’s ever made.

WDBJ7 broke this story on Wednesday with “Crumb and Get it.” Since that time the phone has been ringing off the hook. It’s kind of crazy. It’s a businessman’s dream, being so busy you forget where things are. Complete strangers saying ‘thanks’ for saying ‘no thanks’ to America’s second in command.

I’m thankful that we are still able to say no, and support a business for saying so.

I hadn’t thought of that, but what a great idea to place an order & ask that it be sent somewhere like to homeless shelter or veterans groups. Yep, yay for Americans coming up with such a response of support for that business!!!

Chris and the Mrs. work their butts off (Monday-Wednesday: 10a-10p
Thursday-Saturday: 10a-11p) to create and maintain their business, as with ALL small businesses (just ask my cousin’s husband and his plumbing business in Corpus Christi, TX). The gall of Uncle Joe to want a photo OP after what Der Leader said is as outrageous as the leftist reaction to Chris’s stand. More power to him and his wife. Huzzah! to the true American Spirit!
