Off Topic: It just occurred to me that there’s a strong analogy between “Fast and Furious” and the Obama administration’s handling of the “Arab Spring”. F&F fed the supply lines of violent criminals, with the expectation that our agents could stay on top of the situation and bring it under control. But there was no control, and the administration merely aided and abetted murderers. Then came the lies, stonewalling, denials, and blame for the past administration. Likewise, Obama became the biggest helpmate and enabler of the Muslim Brotherhood and other radicals in the Arab Spring, assuming everything would go well if only we said soothing words and wrote big checks. Just as Mexican drug lords didn’t play along, neither did the regional terrorists, and we’ve ended up doing nothing but aiding and abetting more murderers. But Obama can’t admit that his Middle East fantasies were delusional and self-destructive, so he reverts back to the same pattern of lies, stonewalling, denial, and blame.
