I just got a special message from Paypal a little while ago, and it wasn’t completely a surprise since we’ve had two TAM emails about this. I thought there was a larger issue with Paypal and they’ve confirmed, yes, they’ve had a problem with getting renewals done on time.
They had some sort of a software glitch from 8/29 through 9/15 which pushed back any renewals on those dates to 5-10 days later. They solved their problem but many involved in that block of time were affected. Some of you have contacted me and/or Gina because you weren’t able to access your TAM account even though nothing had changed with your credit card. We now know this is the reason–you simply weren’t billed when you should have been.
We are going through the TAM accounts now to cross-check to make sure we get your membership extended to met the Paypal change. If in fact you have had a problem accessing your TAM membership please contact Gina at tamservice -@- tammybruce.com or even just leave a message here in this post, Gina will be able to track your membership own with your alias. Even if you’re not sure and can email Gina please do so she can double check on your situation ๐ Thanks.
I’m very sorry about this, and as you can imagine I read the riot act to Paypal for not alerting us to this while it was happening! Can you believe that? So, we’re on it, but if you could alert us to any access issues, it will help speed things along.
Thanks for support, understanding and patience ๐
**UPDATE: For clarification–this issue only affects those of you whose renewals would have been due between 8/29-9/12. Not all TAMs renew at the same time, it depends on when you first joined. And know you can always contact Gina. She’s there to help TAMs ๐ Also, if you are having access issues our rectifying this isn’t reliant on your contacting Gina. As we speak TAM helpers are going through that 2 week period of time in TAM and fixing it up. So you’ll be good to go either way ๐ **
To err is human, but to REALLY screw things up requires a COMPUTER!
LOL!
Can I just write a check?
Hi Sue Lynn, we don’t have that capability right now, however you can use at check even at Paypal. I realize that doesn’t bypass Paypal, but right now that’s our process. Paypal has generally been very good, so the screw ups are rare, but when they happen it’s important to stay on it ๐ Thanks.
Another PayPal infobit. It’s been a couple of months since I received an email from looked like PP. It had their header, information, and the included links took me to PP looking pages. It was asking for updates on my information. The problem is it was asking for bank info, PIN numbers, routing numbers, SS#, etc. now whenever someone asks for this it throws up red flags so it’s always good to never give it out. When I contacted PP they told me it wasn’t from them and they would never ask for all that. Just an FYI. Carry on…
REAL email from PayPal ALWAYS starts with your name. Dead giveaway for phishing – no name.
If you aren’t sure when your renewal is, log onto PayPal and look at your account history to find when Tammy membership has been coming out ๐
