NY Post Sunday Book Review; Debbie Reynolds new biography – Unsinkable: A Memoir.
    http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/books/third_time_the_harm_MiWIjWeY7EP154XRUA8U2H

“Debbie Reynolds was so certain that her third marriage would end her streak of bad luck … that she put it in writing. Real-estate developer Richard Hamlett was sexually intoxicating (unlike her other husbands) and a rare combination of “brave, loyal and loving,” she wrote in her 1988 memoir, “Debbie: My Life.” Now, in her follow-up memoir “Unsinkable” — which reads more like a true-crime story than a fairytale love affair — she amends her impression with four words: “How wrong I was!” … Eddie Fisher humiliated her, his worst infraction being “ignoring our children.” And millionaire Harry Karl “wiped us out financially” and was an “unfortunate man.” But Hamlett? “I’d married the devil.” … When Hamlett sauntered in at 4 a.m. reeking of sex, Reynolds confronted him about his philandering and the [house] deed. Suddenly she got caught off guard by a “look in his eyes [that] scared me.” He began to bizarrely insist that the two continue their conversation out on the apartment’s 12th-floor balcony….“I’m in it for the money,” he said. “I’m not leaving. You’ll never get rid of me.” He continued, almost like a cartoon villain. “You can’t get rid of me. I control everything. It’s all in my name. You’re just a figurehead. You’re nothing. And I don’t love you.” As she began to extricate herself from the marriage, she learned that he had retooled their finances in nefarious ways….”

Easter – same life marathon, new starting line. Refreshed and ready to move on. The Catholic belief in the “forgiveness of sins” surely doesn’t get as much press as the concept of “Catholic guilt” (a favorite progressive meme). Jesus died for our salvation. That’s a basic tenet of Christianity. It can be very powerful for believers. Colossians 3:13 ~ “Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.”

    • Tammy says:

LOL! Just posted the Google/Chavez travesty in links above. I’ve switched to Bing, and have banished Chrome.

        Tammy,
I switched to Bing over a year ago….the pictures each day are always interesting and educational, and they actually honor, or at least recognize our AMERICAN Holidays.

Google, on the other hand will have a picture of some Marxist Poet who died 164 years ago, when its MEMORIAL DAY….Google has infuriated me too many times….I believe they are now run by NBC?

Also, as far as your Easter picture…check this out if you have time…..HAPPY EASTER AGAIN EVERYONE!

That picture is actually a .gif file, it sparkles like diamonds when in the proper operating system.

I personally won’t use a google product if there is another option. I believe this company has ethical problems. No Android phones or search for me. On top of that, their Chrome browser screwed up my last laptop at least three times with hours of software repair work.

  7. Dave says:

Thats the same picture I have on my main Facebook Page… Great minds think alike! 😉
Happy Easter to Tammy, and also to every T-A-M!

I just wanted to tell you all how grateful I am to have TAMily 🙂 I’ve always been somewhat of an orphan and I can’t thank you all enough showing me what a ‘fellowship’ can be 🙂 I hope this Passover/Easter season has been wonderful for all of you. It certainly is a reminder that what we have is worth fighting for 🙂

  10. midget says:

Tammy- you’re not an orphan, you have been adopted by all the Tams and more importantly, you are an adopted child of God Almighty who loves you.Good Friday and Easter Sunday opened a heavenly home for those who follow Jesus.

  11. trevy says:

    You’re not an orphan, Tammy. God loves you this much;

    Romans 5:7-9
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
