Obama’s big confession in this interview with Israel’s Channel 2 is that he fantasizes about walking around Tel Aviv in a fake mustache so he can hang out with regular people. That’s right. The interview itself is about 20 minutes long, so in today’s Tammy Radio I gave the end of the exchange a very necessary Mystery Science Theatre 3000 treatment which involves lots of necessary mocking and ridicule. Tammy Radio is 100% listener supported and I’d love to have you join us. For an average of $5 a month you make this program possible. I know you kept saying it sounded like he was going to say “Arabs” but frankly, it sounded like “Iranians” to me 🙂 Great show today Tam Tam.
Flashback to Obama’s interview with Barbara Walters, when she asked him what super power he’d like to have, and he answered that he wanted to fly (link). Don’t you just love those hardball questions and meaningful answers? Children at the helm! We’re doomed!
That handlebar mustache wasn’t exactly what I was thinking.
I picture BO with the toothbrush, philtrum, postage stamp, evil Chancellor style, circa 1933-1945. Let’s see him ‘blend in’ with the regular people with that one.
I can only see him in a pencil thin. Yes, pencil thin mustache & mom jeans.
This S.O.B. loves the sound of his own voice.

Everything about Obama is fake. He can’t even grow a real mustache. There was a pathetic hint of lip fuzz when he tried to grow a mustache to look manly for the Arabs when he went to Cairo. ( Is Obama bringing whiskers back to the White House? U.S. president sports thin moustache during Egypt visit )
Obama is all about salesmanship, not leadership. He’s slim, has a deep voice, a charming smile and is adept using a teleprompter. Without those characteristics and the capacity to lie shamelessly he’d have gotten nowhere.
Obsequious speaking style in interviews. Obama likes interviews rather than pressers because he can speak in that style. With more than one questioner, you can’t get that one-on-one intimate tone. He is all about packaging not message.
My distrust antennae always go up on high whenever I hear that tone. It is a bully’s tone.
Mustache or no mustache, he still looks like a dumb b@stard. The Israelis would see right through the disguise.
He sounds like a king, “trapped” in his own majesty. If only he could mingle with the lowly populace (sigh).
I think he was thrown by the question, because he really had no good answer. This “mustache” response can be used for any country:
Q: Mr. President, I know you have already been to Tibet. What place would you wish you could see in Tibet now if you were not the President?”
A: Well, ya know, I wish I could wear a mustache and wander around the streets of Xigatse and talk to the regular folks.
He has arrested development at about 12 years old. Just old enough to be cunning and an immature dork at the same time. He is as clueless as a grub and has about as much human empathy as a snake.
