  2. Maynard says:

Okay, it’s official, America welcomes foreign Islamic terrorists with open arms while disarming its own citizens.

Has a picture of the DB holding in his hand a picture of Suspect #2 been released by the White House yet?

UPI Headline: Dunkin’ Donuts in Boston remain open during lockdown

Dunkin Donuts tweet: “Yes, the Watertown DD is open to serve local law enforcement, first responders w/ free coffee & product”

It infuriates me when the media refers to these cold blooded killers as ‘gentlemen’. Three different reporters this morning called them the gentlemen in the white cap, the gentlemen in the black cap. They’ve done it before with the likes of other murderers. They are not gentlemen you jackasses.

Hoping and praying they blow the brains out of the other brother and put him on display also just as they did Saddams sons. I have no desire to find out why they did what they did. I want them in Hell as soon s possible.

In the meantime: Earthquake jolts islands off northern Japan, no tsunami warning.

That about covers the seven plagues, right?

  9. Chuck says:

The aftermath: Suspect #2 captured, FBI updates wanted poster.

May God bless our law enforcement officers and those who dedicate their lives to keep us safe, and may the families find comfort in Him during these trying times.

The Boston marathon is the oldest continuous marathon event in the world. The last hill in the race is called Heartbreak Hill because of its length uphill near the end of the race. From now on, I suspect that name will have an additional meaning.

Bryan Suits (I respect his opinion) posted the following comment on his Facebook page:

I promise you, when the dust settles we’ll have a tale of FBI incompetence and political influence. If more agents were chasing radical converts to Islam, instead of fictional right-wing anti-government groups, Tamerlan Tsarnaev would’ve been arrested before he killed a cop. He was on the RUSSIANS’ radar for god’s sake! The FBI distributed the suspect photos to all agents on Wednesday. Why didn’t they bounce them off a file of all known/suspected/recently investigated Bostonians?

Sunday NY Post, Kyle Smith writes that HBO show Veep is funny, good, and affirms conservative political view.

    http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/opedcolumnists/vice_city_IQ6oLAO6s79AWAYfB7DZ6L

“…For the last 20 years, Washington media’s shorthand for all of this has been the cliché, “Kabuki theater” — everyone pointing out that everyone is just putting on a show — but “Veep” shows Washington to be more like theater of the absurd. It’s about how some of the smartest, most ambitious people get addicted to political power and spend their lives rushing around for the next fix….

…that DC is just a high-school clique playing with somebody else’s credit card, a nerd army of mini-Napoleons heaving vacuous rhetoric at the suckers (“There’ s no I in freedom,” Meyer says at a rally. “Freedom is not me-dom. It’s we-dom!”) to disguise its main motivation, which is to grab and hold onto power.”

Sunday NY Post, long article titled, The Kennedy Meth, on how, Dr. Feelgood (name of the new book on this), hooked JFK, Jackie, Marilyn Monroe, and many others on methamphetamines.

    http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/opedcolumnists/the_kennedy_meth_4gGCkatf61gYCpkTZhg4FM

“…Max Jacobson, a doctor who had invented a secret vitamin formula that gave people renewed energy and cured their pain, and was given the code name “Dr. Feelgood” by Kennedy’s Secret Service detail. This formula was actually methamphetamine…

Jacobson, born in 1900 and raised in Berlin, began experimenting with strange concoctions in the 1930s, when he would consult with Carl Jung, whose guidance “led him to first experiment with early psychotropic, or mood and mind-altering, drugs.”…

The doctor’s concoction — which evolved to become a mixture of methamphetamine and goat’s and sheep’s blood — caught the attention of Germany’s National Socialists, who demanded the formula. Jacobson, who was Jewish, later said that his drug was fed to Nazi soldiers, making them more vicious. He also believed that Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun eventually became addicted to his formula….

celebrity patients he’d served in Europe such as Nin, director Billy Wilder and author Henry Miller; and take on many new ones, including Nelson Rockefeller, Maria Callas, Bob Fosse, Ingrid Bergman, Leonard Bernstein, Tennessee Williams, director Cecil B. DeMille and writer Rod Serling, who, the authors say, was high on Jacobson’s meth when he furiously wrote “The Twilight Zone” series….

After Kennedy won the presidency, Jacobson became an essential part of his team. Whenever he received a call from “Mrs. Dunn” — the code name Kennedy’s assistant used to indicate that he was needed by the president — Jacobson dropped everything to meet Kennedy and administer a shot….

The night in May 1962 when Monroe famously sang “Happy Birthday” to the president at Madison Square Garden, she was fueled by Jacobson’s magical elixir….

after Jacobson agreed to stay on, that the doctor gave the president too high a dose, causing the psychotic break that led to the president of the United States running naked and delirious through the hotel’s halls….”

I knew about the Nazis using meth – hence the term “Nazi Cook” – but the other information is astonishing. Having had my issues with this poison myself I understand it’s allure. I guess you never think of famous and powerful people being as weak and venerable as the rest of us.
