After years of study a scientist (a Frenchman believe it or not) concluded bras do more harm than good to women’s breasts.

Professor says bras are useless

…medically, physiologically and anatomically” breasts gained no benefit from their weight being supported in a bra”

Dedicated to his work, Professor Rouillon has been examining breasts professionally since 1997. What he calls his initial results after all these years is that the bra is a “false need” and women should stop wearing them. Evidently further study is required.

He said a principle observation was that the nipple would lift 7mm in a year towards the shoulder in those women not wearing a bra. The breast would also become firmer and stretch-marks faded. He suggested that girls who started wearing a bra once their breasts first started to appear would soon become dependent as the supporting muscle structure would degrade.

We report, you decide. The shape of women’s breasts is in your hands.

What an idiot- there must some benefit considering the demand and billions sold worldwide. What will women do in outer space?

Of course a discussion and serious research of this subject would lead us to our favorite online encyclopedia:

Our doltish Secretary of State could use a face bra now to protect all the work done there, don’t think he wants gravity to kick in again.

My knowledge of such issues is entirely informal and recreational, but I had been under the impression that bras were medically advised. Is it really true that the “expert” advice has been steering women in the wrong direction since forever? I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time the “experts” proved to be fools, but nevertheless….

Hmmm. I just read that FoxNews report, “Montana man looks to be reimbursed by feds after dog eats $500”.

I had something like that happen to me once. My dog ate my $100 bill. I followed him around for a couple days but never recovered it. Turned out the bill was a counterfeit, so the dog couldn’t pass it.

Didn’t bras usher out the era of 8 lace petticoats and hoop skirts with corsets so tight that breathing was difficult? I thought bras helped bring women into the modern age of increased active lives. Unfortunately this one research result seems to fit into those whose mindset is, put women in burquas and veils, and they can’t leave the house without male relative.

My take on this is that OBVIOUSLY bras were invented by the patriarchy to keep women servile and enslaved, just like fashion was OBVIOUSLY invented by a group of cave men MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO to keep women home, barefoot and pregnant, oppressed and miserable.

  7. a few trips to the gym, taking a moderate workout class like Body Fit or a beginner’s class like Shape Up, will do wonders for the supporting muscles around the breasts. It makes very noticeable improvements in appearance in just a few weeks. They really perk up so to speak. This “expert” must be talking about women who do absolutely no upper body exercise, having their muscles becoming dependent on bras. I think all of us as kids are traumatized by seeing National Geographic films where these bush ladies are long and hanging to the ground;) What does the well meaning expert say about the toll gravity has taken on these women? But hey! At least they got a 7mm lift advantage on the nips! No wait, I remember them pointing straight down as well:(

I have a feeling this study was paid for by the French Government. I’m guessing our
government will slip a study like this for our tax paid dollars to cover in the near future.

I would like to Agree and even ‘Assist’ Rouillon (The Frenchman) in his studies, but I am not currently on mind altering drugs, so No.

Not all American woman are perky A & B cups, if Health News reports and Moooch’s “Let’s Move” is correct, the majority of Americans are over weight and Bra support for said woman are very much needed in the Back Support area.

    Frenchman, back to your Playboy!
