**Bumped Up for Newbies**
Gravatar.com is a site related to WordPress and all you have to do is create a free profile there and upload the photo(s) you’d like to use for your Comment picture. Right now most of us have a default blue box thingy, but it’s fun to change it, and gives everyone else a sense of who you are 🙂
Gravatar will automatically make your uploaded photo your avatar, but you must create an account there using the same email you used to create your WordPress account here.

Thanks Tammy … I was wondering if there was a way to change it…mine is Callie cruising in our convertible. This July 4th we both will be attending a Tea Party…we are on vacation but found one nearby. Callie has a “WAG” if you (heart) the USA ..t-shirt she will be wearing.
yes you can go to Gravatar and upload as many photos as you would like and choose the one for the avatar.

Tammy- saw you on the fox news channel tonight and a few nights ago. You are so right on , you get to the point and much of the time Im thinking what your saying. You are right November was a bigggg mistake, although I wasn’t a McCain fan either. Ive been watching the town hall meetings and agreeing with the people Im none of those things they have been calling the people well except maybe the mob, I am Itailian so just call me tight lips tree short for Theresa. Wish you were still on the Tucson radio broadcasts, you are one of brightest people on radio and tv combined. well, progress thus far:
I’m using IE8, on a pretty new laptop with Vista, and Gravator loads like a dead dog and looks so retro I have to figure that they have a weekend CSS collapse. But anyway, my wonderful handdrawn 44×44 gif is all ready to go, and I try uploading it. I get to their “Crop” page, it shows me my wonderful gif, and says ‘use the dotted line box to crop’. Only thing there’s no box, no dotted line, and the previews amazingly show me the upper left hand corner of my teeny-tiny (think Lisa Lupner’s voice here) picture. And there’s no place to go now. Gravatar won’t let me do anything more.
So I swap out browsers and fire up my old fashioned Netscape 4.5. Gravatar still looks retro, but at least it loads like I have DSL instead of paper cups and string. ‘Cept Gravatar won’t let me login now.
So piss on it for now. If anyone wants to see my gif, ask and I’ll email it to you. Though really, it’s just like a corner of a USPS stamp, it’s itty bitty. It would make a great t-shirt though. Enlarged.
Gravatar has finished swallowing whatever it had stuck and has relearned CSS. My wonderful gif will be here soon.

I tried posting an avatar but it didn’t work. For some reason the avatar I chose wouldn’t upload.
There is a limit on byte size and file type…I had the same problem until I cropped Syd’s picture.
