I’m guessing Obama figured out they weren’t going to get him back and the world has been mocking him throughout this debacle. Maybe they overplayed their hand just a little?

Obama downplays Snowden case, says US not ‘scrambling jets’ to get ‘hacker’

President Obama said Thursday he has not gotten personally involved in the case of Ed Snowden, because he expects other countries to “abide by international law” and not provide harbor to a fugitive. At the same time, he indicated he does not plan to go to extraordinary lengths to capture the NSA leaker, saying: “No, I’m not going to be scrambling jets to get a 29-year-old hacker.”

As Republican lawmakers urge Obama to get tough with Russia as it denies extradition requests, Obama said he has not directly spoken with Russia’s Vladimir Putin or Chinese President Xi Jinping. He flashed some annoyance as he declared he has not called either leader because “I shouldn’t have to.”

He noted that the U.S. does “a whole lot of business” with both countries, and said he doesn’t want to be in a position where he’s “wheeling and dealing and trading” just to “get a guy extradited.”

Shorter Obama: I’m embarrassed and it probably wouldn’t work anyway and would probably take me away from my golf game, so… nah. Jackwagon.

So, Bronco ‘Bama is busy downgrading Snowden from “spy” to “hacker.” He has also downgraded skeptics of Climate Change (aka The Weather) to members of the “flat earth society.”

But that’s OK. Because Tammy has also given *him* a downgrade, from DB to POS.

Snowden is not a “Hacker” as POTUS has dubbed him. Snowden was given the keys to the kingdom via his security clearance.

I’d like the off-budget secret programs to be in the budget with more transparency. Such as secret Program A – 500 million, Program B – 1.4 billion, etc. Administration & Congress can both know what those programs are without informing the public or our enemies. General concern is that we don’t want our enemies to know that we are spending x billion on such and such program nor the cumulative amount. But I think that that is much less of a concern now. Putin & China have a better idea of how much we spend on secret programs than the American people. And with spending exceeding budget by 40%, we need all the budget transparency that we can get.

And we say Putin, Schmootin, right Obama? Why let a 61-yr old jewelry thief cast a shadow on more important things like visiting slave quarters in Africa? We’re not going to get into wheelin’ and dealin’ on violated nuclear arms treaties either. If Putin is so insecure that’s his problem. We’ll just keep on disarming America in every possible way for the Progressive Obama legacy.

Why does the House continue funding wasteful and harmful agencies with money we have to borrow or fabricate? Just stop or slow it. Would that be such a wild a__ move? I think people would rally behind them.

Since things seem more and more Kafkaesque; Franz Kafka was born 130 years ago, July 3, 1883. He died from TB at 41. His 3 sisters were killed by the Nazis, Lodz ghetto and Auschwitz.

One of his most famous works is, The Trial. From wiki:
“On his thirtieth birthday, the chief financial officer of a bank, Josef K., is unexpectedly arrested by two unidentified agents from an unspecified agency for an unspecified crime…. K. is not taken away, however, but left “free” to await instructions from the Committee of Affairs….”

You’re ‘free’ to await instructions from the Committee of Affairs – sounds like Obama’s utopian government to me.
