Hi everyone! Here’s a new format we’re trying out for reports from the road. I think it will work out quite well. Now, I may not be able to post every dispatch right away to the blog so please “follow” me over at SoundCloud. This way you’ll get be able to listen to a dispatch right when I post it.

This section is for comments from tammybruce.com's community of registered readers. Please don't assume that Tammy agrees with or endorses any particular comment just because she lets it stand.

I’m living in dark ages w/ generic mp3 player rather than ipod. Can someone point me to a tool to convert this to .mp3 format so I can listen on with my MP3 player rather than having to listen via my computer?

    • Chuck says:

There is a download button under each file. It will be in MPEG-4 format. You probably will need to convert to MP3 if your player does not read MPEG-4. There are online tools available to do that.

What a nice surprise to find Tammy’s first ever Soundcloud podcast to enjoy with my morning coffee! Sound quality is great and our virtual tour with Tammy to historical London sites and other memorable sites to come, especially Normandy, are a great shared TAM experience. Thanks Tammy!

The Sound Cloud post sounded great. Even over here with this crapy internet it sounded clear and loud. Love the concept.

Fantastic technology…unimaginable 5 years ago. SoundCloud is the perfect modality. Keep them coming, Tammy.

Very, very cool. The sound was awesome and it was great hearing Tammy’s voice as withdrawals were starting to set in. BTW, Tammy, having just returned from Denmark less than a month ago, may I warn you that the European Security Agents in the airports over there can get very friendly. I got patted down in every airport we were at (which was 5). And I do believe that I got felt up by a young, energetic, female Security Agent in Amsterdam. I haven’t been groped that vigorously since I was in my twenties, and in public, no less. hahahaha Just thought I would give you a heads up. Have fun and keep us posted…

I finally made it over to the blog site and was very pleasantly surprised to find several podcasts. I wasn’t expecting much to be here (ashamed of myself) but the site is fantastically updated and the soundcloud podcasts are chrystal clear – most excellent. Tammy brought tears to my eyes in first pod relaying the granduer of feelings of the history. I would be overwhelmed with emotions. So great to hear from you Tammy – thanks for an excellent site 🙂

I just listened to the top podcast right online and it sounded great! Experiment successful.

Funny that the Sir Walter Raleigh place is probably a no-smoking area.
