Today HHS secretary Sebelius was sworn in for testimony to the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Yes, she apologized, and then pretty much bulshed her way through the next 4 hours. It ended up being a clusterfark, as only the creators of ObamaCare could provide. Here’s some of the more noteworthy events and comments:

Sebelius: ‘Whatever’

Rep. Gregg Harper (R., Miss.) tried to get Kathleen Sebelius to admit that President Obama is ultimately responsible for implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

“No sir, we are responsible,” Sebelius said, of her agency. “He’s the president of the United States. I have given him regular reports. I am responsible for the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.”

Harper gave Sebelius credit for being a good “team player” but tried again to get her to admit that the president was responsible.

Sebelius struggled to find a new way to respond. “Whatever,” she finally said, shaking her head and saying again that she was responsible.

I’m gobsmacked. Is she the best that America has to offer?

Shucks, I didn’t get to see Masterpiece Theater today. So, Kathy said “I’m sorry.” Well, that much we know. Did she also resign in shame and disgust? OBummer expects, yay, demands that his minion’s fall on the sword before him. He must be protected, at everyone’s expense. #Whatever

This is beginning to remind me of Monty Python. ( sorry!! sorry!!) But, not quite as uplifting.

Can any Dem answer a simple question with the word ” yes” or the word “no”?
I think these people have all been trained in high speed SPINNING…..sorta like a dentist’s drill.

This thing looks so far looks like it might hopelessly scramble everything it touches like IRS, social security, insurance, hospital, doctor records, bank data, military records etc. Spooky. HHS Secretary dodges, weaves and scuttles around like a blue crab.

All of these people cannot answer a simple Yes or No. Their minds are not wired in a linear fashion to give straight answers. They are constructed like a Gordian Knot, all twisted around and around. They could not give straight simple answers to anything if their miserable lives depended upon it.

She “apologizes” but her boss goes on a publicity tour regurgitating everything she had said originally and even amping it up a notch. These two are sick. On a brighter note, I thought he was going to make an appearance at the World Series and doom the Red Sox! So glad he did not!

I thought S-evil-ious would have been smoother than what I saw as she’s been in politics a long time. I guess she proves the Peter Principle is still alive and well..
