Why women are so over Obama

During a six-week period of time that no one could have imagined, President Obama became the man who fell to earth. Much of the commentary since the launch of Obamacare has rightfully centered on the remarkable collapse of the program and the even more shocking and utter management failure of this presidential-legacy issue by Mr. Obama and his inner circle. While the downward shift in support by most Americans in light of the fiasco is not surprising, the retreat of women from the president is most significant.

Why are women finally beginning to reject Mr. Obama? Because he betrayed their trust. It’s personal. With the truth of Obamacare on the table for all to see, including the higher premiums, the canceled policies, the excluded doctors and hospitals, the original targeted marketing of Obamacare to women has now been exposed as the cynical and manipulative fraud it really was. It would have been bad enough, but perhaps forgivable, had Mr. Obama simply been wrong or made a major mistake. To have flagrantly lied, though, about an issue fundamental to our health and future, is particularly unacceptable to women — the very people on whom he has relied for his elections and for support of his legislative agenda…

    Tammy,
    congratulations on the new column
It’s great to be witness to a voice getting louder in the public arena with such spot-on analysis

    Brava, Tammy !

  3. Vintageport says:

Well stated, Tammy. Health care professionals have known for the longest time that women make over 75% of the decisions involved in their family’s health care. To have blatantly and unabashedly lied to them about something they hold so precious and important was a major miscalculation…and make no mistake about it, it was a calculation. This was no misstep by the bumbler-in-chief. Women had held strong and fast in their support for Obama since the beginning. What harm could come from just one more deception? 37% and falling fast.

Once trust has been broken in a relationship, it’s next to possible to be restored. It takes time, commitment and hard work. Something Obummer doesn’t have the character for, or interest in doing. He’s not running for re-election, so who cares. Like Tammy said, they were pawns to be used for his purposes.

Great article, Tammy. You hit the nail on the proverbial head! And I’d like to add something else. It’s a proven fact that women live longer than men. And sometimes, ALOT longer than men. Women are smart and, consequently, I think that they are starting to realize that Gov Palin’s “death panels” – you know, the ones that were poo poo’d by the Dumbass and all the democrats – will become a very big reality for them. Everything from, you need a hip or knee replacement? Too bad…Take a pain pill and live with the pain! You need a pacemaker? No way…Take a pain pill and pray your heart doesn’t stop! You have a curable cancer? Too bad…You’re too old; take a pain pill until you’re gone! No joke. We all know that once we, women, can no longer contribute to the power hungry, socialist system, they will throw us away like a used up paper towel. Welcome to Obamacare, Ladies…

Speaking of women who can see through lies, author Patricia Cornwell does the Sunday NYPost what books are in your library thing. And for her current 2 books, she chooses, Bonkers: My Life in Laughs by Jennifer Saunders and American Sniper, Chris Kyle. I find these selections as showing that she is connected to the average person’s life. (Her 2 classic books are, A Moveable Feast and Lord of the Flies. Which again are books for everyone to read.)

I’m sure that she is doing this as a publicity outreach. She has just signed to co-produce a new TV series. “…Cornwell will author the screenplay for “Greta Stone,” the story of an orphaned policewoman with an uncanny knack for solving crimes….” Hmm, an orphan who can analyze…nope doesn’t ring any bells. http://sg.news.yahoo.com/patricia-cornwell-turns-screenwriting-abc-165645823.html

The title/character name, Greta Stone, was undoubtedly partially chosen for its nice rhythmic harmonic sound (Greta is foreign mysterious and Stone is hard resilient). Both names end with vowels and linguistically it’s the same rhythm/harmony as Tammy Bruce, just another half-octave lower. Good.

The Sunday NYP Book Review is of a new book on NYC during prohibition. Discusses that there was a religious exemption in Prohibition (where was that precedent in Ocare). Anyway, discusses rabbis (most fake, some real) who used the exemption including some named Sullivan and Moriarty. Also, there were synagogues located in such places as a pork store. Don’t believe that was the Orthodox wing. http://nypost.com/2013/11/23/prohibition-was-the-perfect-excuse-for-nyers-to-run-wild/
