John Kerry is getting on everyone’s nerves in Israel, with his threats of more boycotts if they don’t bow to “Palestinian” demands and agree to his peace plan.

(I’m just not sure how you “make peace” with people who want to kill you.)

Oh yes, he also went on Israeli TV and threatened “dire consequences” and a possible third intifada if Israel does not agree to the “peace” plan.

So, a few days ago, a YouTube video surfaced in Israel, mocking Kerry.

Susan Rice was not amused.

And today, Jen Psaki, U.S. State Dept. spokesperson, has denounced the youtube clip as “unacceptable.”

Via Daniel Greenfield: FrontPagMag — State Department Denounces Israeli Video Mocking Kerry as “Unacceptable”

The State Department really has no luck with YouTube videos. Before you know it, they’ll be claiming that the video mocking Kerry retroactively caused the Benghazi attack….

If another country demanded that Saturday Night Live or Gawker stopped making fun of its leaders, it would be rightly put in its place. The Obama Inc. demands that Netanyahu stop Israelis from criticizing Kerry are equally inappropriate….

There’s a basic problem with denouncing people in another country making a viral video that gently mocks a politician as “unacceptable” while failing to denounce open advocacy of terror by PLO government officials.

LOLOLOLOL!!!! I haven’t laughed so hard about politics in a long time. This is brilliant.

Hire this guy in SNL … oh wait, they are libs, they don’t have a sense of humor.

Shifra, are you saying this isn’t a genuine news clip?

    Darn!

I thought it was mild, but we are dealing with people with thin skins!
Especially liked the woman who said “you should go home where you belong and stay there!”

The video indicates it was broadcast on “KTV” — perhaps that is what got to him. The young guy looked pretty ridiculous sporting Kerry’s hair. Perhaps there’s a culture barrier involved here — maybe it sounds only half ridiculous to us and all the way the Israelis.

I agree, Cathode Rays. I did find the video somewhat amusing, but I read it was quite a hit in Israel. They put out another video mocking Kerry, and made him look like an idiot. I was thinking of posting it here, but I decided against it, as it has Kerry giving “solutions” to problems, such as using porcupines if you happen to run out of “TP.” Then he looks in the camera and says, “ok, not a good idea. But you have to do *something*”

I think people are just fed up with him; he keeps showing up, lecturing and hectoring everybody.

I remember this same idea of using cameras (though these were cameras mounted on tiny drones) to shame dictators who tortured their own people, or planned an attack on another nation (something like that), being printed in an illustrated sci-fi piece in Wired Magazine many years ago. The message was that future technology would make war unnecessary, since international shaming would keep bad international actors in line with “global community standards.” It seems to be a liberal meme that’s been around for a while if these Israeli satirists are using it.

If we should learn anything from the last 13 years it’s that international shaming only works with an advanced culture that has it’s own moral/ethical code. It worked against the UK, South Africa, and the U.S. I can’t think of any other candidates.

John Kerry, who attended school in France, is an idiot non-savant.

(With apologies to myself and all idiots.)

Whaa freakin whaa. This whole administration is a laughing stock around the world. Israel knows they can no longer count on America’s support in it’s right to protect it’s citizens, so they will take care of it themselves. One of these days they will realize they have taken about all the BS from it mooselum neighbors as it’s going to and will then just light them up. Mooselums respect two things; a strong decisive leaders, and rounds down range.

Who cares what Susan Rice and Jen Psaki thinks is unfounded and unacceptable. These people are UNreal. What Susan did by lying to the American people about the Benghazi attack was unfounded, unacceptable, and unAmerican. This administration is getting what it deserves…mockery. Who wants to lectured to by the likes of Lurch. The people have had enough.

Investigation found nothing illegal but AG needs to review case. http://wonkette.com/541638/aclu-explains-to-rhode-island-a-g-that-free-speech-even-covers-mean-dumb-pictures-on-facebook

And in State Dept. missing in action news; Virginia passed legislation last Thursday that the Sea of Japan shall also be called the East Sea in school books. NY State legislators have now introduced a bill to direct the same thing. Don’t trust politicians making name decisions. They try to curry favor while deleting history. http://newsonjapan.com/html/newsdesk/article/106532.php

And a followup companion story to Indonesia naming its recent warship after 2 marines who carried out terrorist bombing in Singapore under orders of Sukarno: Area of Indonesia closest to Singapore requests that a statue honoring the marines not be built.
