Washington Times: Obama deliberately emboldening America’s enemies
Team Obama’s bizarre behavior helps Gitmo terrorists foil justice

All Americans should be aware of some very disturbing events that speak to the state of terrorism, the strength of al Qaeda and our nation’s security. In light of the danger unfolding around us, we also need to question whether or not President Obama’s administration is serious about confronting what is clearly a gathering storm, or whether, in fact, his policies are encouraging those who wish to harm us.

One of the more shocking events illustrating the growing strength of al Qaeda is the release of a video this week showing what CNN reports as “the largest and most dangerous gathering of al Qaeda in years.” It’s what experts think is a recent gathering of the terrorist group’s leadership and more than 100 fighters in Yemen.

For an administration that does not hide its eagerness to use drones to kill terrorists, experts and journalists alike were wondering whether our intelligence community knew about this meeting, and if so, why didn’t they take the opportunity to kill the most dangerous of them with one drone strike?…

Good column as always. Needs to be said and love the factual even tempered tone resulting in a devastating indictment.

In tangential placement related news; Tammy recently mentioned the new Pulitzer Prize winning book, The Goldfinch. The Washington Times has a good review of it today next to Tammy’s column on the continue page.

Thank-you. Makes sense. Perpetual bewilderment over administration moves that disadvantage this country does not.

Excellent piece…probably dead on truth. But on a side note, I have a little trouble extending the mutts in this administration the capability of pulling off something this complex. I find them about as efficient as the Keystone Cops on a good day…..

Russia has written off most of the debt that North Korea owes it. Debt forgiveness is expected to result in NoKo allowing Russia to build a gas pipeline across NoKo to SoKo. Agreed to in 2012, the Dumas has now approved, and on the same day that Obama announced delay in Keystone Pipeline decision.

Got to hand it to Putin, he had this in 2012 and held on to it when the timing was better. Why would SoKo want a gas pipeline from Russia? Oh yeah, the U.S. won’t sell natural gas to it such as the Keystone Pipeline.
