This morning Sharyl Attkisson appeared on Howard Kurtz’s Fox News show “Media Buzz” discussing her experience at CBS News, how she found the network “too compliant” with the Obama administration. Below is the first segment. You can >catch the second at Mediaite.

Sharyl Attkisson, an investigative reporter who recently resigned from her post at CBS News, took shots at both her former employer and the Obama administration on Media Buzz Sunday morning, accusing CBS News of being too compliant with the White House, and the White House of overtly trying to stifle reporting.

“I didn’t run into that same kind of sentiment [at CBS] as I did in the Obama administration when I covered the Bush administration very aggressively,” Attkisson said, adding that when CBS has a problem with a story, “It never runs. Or it dies the death of a thousand cuts, as some of us say. If it’s something they don’t want it will be changed and revised and shortened and altered so much that it’s a shadow of its former self if it does air.”

Glad that Sharyl has spoken out so soon. Shows she isn’t retiring (yay) and the importance of FNC. If there was no FNC, likely no news channel would interview her so soon, if ever.

Attkisson shows a lot of courage. And I hope the Obama Regime does not try to punish her for speaking the truth.

She’s very professional and articulate.. better for a Fox news anchor side than a robotic leftist shrill

Michael Isikoff has left NBC news. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/randy-hall/2014/04/14/michael-isikoff-scooped-drudge-lewinsky-scandal-1998-leaves-nbc-news

Isikoff worked at WaPo, then Newsweek, and since 2010, NBC TV. While at Newsweek he had the Monica Lewinsky story which Newsweek declined to run, which opened the window for Drudge to post it. While at NBC, he did a story on Obama’s drone policy. He is very much a liberal and one of his stories on soldiers mistreating a Koran had to be retracted. But as shown by the Lewinsky and the drone stories, he didn’t shy away from big news for political reasons. Wonder what his thoughts are on how liberals running news orgs. have decided to close shop on investigating.

In other ‘reporting’ news, Showtime is showing a 9-part series on climate change, Years of Living Dangerously. Started last Sunday, 4/13. Produced by James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jerry Weintraub. Celebrities such as Matt Damon, Jessica Alba, and Tom Friedman, go around the world interviewing people about climate change. I believe that the administration is hoping that this is big so they can have EPA push more stringent fossil fuel regulations, maybe even coordinated with the administration.
