Why are we throwing money at this when nobody wants to participate? Where is this money appropriated? And it gets more sickening. The garden aspect of this has Moochelle’s hoof prints all over it.

It almost sounds like a scam: free groceries for six weeks — but it’s the real deal, happening in Louisville. The only problem is the doctor’s office that got big bucks for the new program can’t get enough people to stick with it.
Faybeeon and Jaybereon Travis like all things salty and sweet. Like most 11-year-olds, they don’t look at nutritional facts when selecting a snack, though their lunchtime habits are changing.
“We got to learn about what we should and should not eat ,” Jaybereon said. “More bananas and stuff, and less hot chips.”
The twins and their mother are one of the first families to enter the Shawnee Christian Healthcare childhood obesity study. The doctor’s office won a $200,000 grant to design a program for the whole family. The program includes free cooking classes, one-on-one workouts, doctor’s visits and even free groceries for six weeks.
“It’s just hard to get people to commit,” said Sandy Marshall-King, a patient navigator. “I can have 50-60 people register, but when the program begins, only have six or seven show up.”
A cheaper way to get everyone to lose weight: Mooch should test everyone’s BMI (Body Mass Index) and everyone with a BMI over 25 should be sent to “relocation camps,” to be put on a starvation diet and forced to grow vegetables in prison, er, relocation camp farms. (Yes, I’m kidding, but I bet Mooch has already thought of this “solution”)
These freaks measure their compassion by how much of our money they can piss away.
