Considering Obama’s policies, this was predictable. Equally concerning is a doctor who, laudably, worked with Doctors Without Borders in West Africa to help treat Ebola, who returned to the United States and then in about a week of his return (and the day before he reported symptoms) rode the subway, took an Uber ride and went to a bowling alley. You would think he, of all people, would have voluntarily self-quarantined. But no. It doesn’t help there is no universal guideline suggesting travelers self-quarantine. After all, when people arrive in the US from Ebola-stricken nations, >we simply give them a little packet with a new thermometer and a card describing Ebola symptoms and send them on their way.

This is madness and it’s not going to stop until we initiate serious restrictions. None of this would be happening if we quarantined people for a month prior to entry or right after entry if they get through. They say travel restrictions would harm the West African nations economically. As is Ebola isn’t already doing that? If economics is their reason, how many Americans are we willing to sacrifice as collateral damage? For me the answer would be none.

Doctor in New York City Tests Positive for Ebola

A doctor in New York City who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea tested positive for the Ebola virus Thursday, becoming the city’s first diagnosed case.

The doctor, Craig Spencer, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital Center on Thursday and placed in isolation while health care workers spread out across the city to trace anyone he might have come into contact with in recent days. A further test will be conducted by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to confirm the initial test.

While officials have said they expected isolated cases of the disease to arrive in New York eventually, and had been preparing for this moment for months, the first case highlighted the challenges surrounding containment of the virus, especially in a crowded metropolis.

Even as the authorities worked to confirm that Mr. Spencer was infected with Ebola, it emerged that he traveled from Manhattan to Brooklyn on the subway on Wednesday night, when he went to a bowling alley, and then took a taxi home.

Does Obama have a crony who owns a company that stands to benefit from ebola?

Obama must be thrilled: His plan to “transform” America… into a Third World, disease-ridden hell-hole is on its way!

Another nice clean lucky “catch”. The virus is flowing on in symptomatic or pre-symptomatic. If the doctor got into some kind of accident and was rushed bleeding and unconscious to a hospital many here would be endangered.

Oh. My. GOD! When does this END? Just when we think we’ve dodged a bullet, THIS happens!

This doctor should be arrested and fined for his colossal stupidity.
