My Washington Times column for this week has posted. I hope you like it. Please Tweet, Facebook, Blog and spread the word! Thanks!

Washington Times: How Democrats broke the spirit of America: A string of critical Obama failures invited wide fear and loathing

These four words explain why Democrats have lost the confidence of the American people: jobs, ISIS, Ebola and Obamacare. While seemingly disparate, they all have one very important thing in common: They exist or have been made worse because of liberal Democratic policies and general incompetence, and they’re making Americans less sure of the future for themselves and their children.

After six years of “hope and change,” two recent polls expose the depth of American gloom about the future. In what The Washington Post described as “a stunning indication of the historic uncertainty and pessimism coursing through the public,” an August NBC-Wall Street Journal poll found that 76 percent of the American people do not feel confident that their children will have a better life than they do…

May I gripe? Some of our most useful sites, such as the Washington Times and Breitbart, are so crammed with active advertising and scripts that I hate to click through to them. Opening an article slows my PC to a crawl, and scrolling becomes painful and jerky. On some sites, audio or video starts playing, and I struggle to turn off the distraction, which in some cases is impossible. Yes, I know there are some tricks I might apply to minimize scripted activity, but I’d rather leave my browser in its standard configuration. Bottom line is I mostly stay away from these oversaturated sites, in that they frustrate me more than enlighten me.

Some liberal site (Politico ?) ran an 8 reasons to vote article. Reason No. 1–>4 is Beyoncé’s favorite number. Since I didn’t vote early, I guess I’m a Beyoncé voter this year. I can’t wait for her hit song/video; Crush Crush Smash Smash.

Cosmopolitan magazine and 9 reasons with hashtag, #Cosmovotes. Beyonce’s favorite number of 4, is no. 1 reason.

This election day, Mark Steyn has a good post on the awful Republican machine, specifically NH where Scott Brown has a nice opportune chance to win. Excerpt: “Nonetheless, I regard the Republican Party as a largely repulsive institution. Yesterday, one of the last of this season’s election flyers arrived at my Post Office from the GOP. It read:

      SCOTT BROWN HAS A
      STRONG RECORD OF FIGHTING
      FOR WHAT IS RIGHT.

      SCOTT IS PRO-CHOICE & SUPPORTS
      ISSUES IMPORTANT TO WOMEN.”

Nothing about immigration which is Brown’s main campaign point or Obamacare or VA or ISIS or… No, NH Republicans put out a strictly defensive flyer to imply that Scott Brown is not anti-woman. Worth a read.
