Who’s up for a fresh addition to the ever-expanding “voter fraud is a Republican myth” file? Democratic officials and campaign operatives have been caught on tape encouraging illegal voting on several occasions in recent election cycles, and anti-voter ID activists have literally cheered a swing-state poll worker who was convicted of the practice. Our latest installment comes to us from the Bayou State and features a Democratic mayor and former State Senator, who dispensed some pro tips on voting at a rally in advance of Saturday’s run-off election:

Washington Post: Mary Landrieu, Deep South’s last Senate Democrat, must fend for herself
Sounds like their chickens are finally coming home to roost!
I have no doubt that there will be tricks in the last 48 hours of the race, however, it won’t work. Landrieu is falling further behind. Some are predicting a closer race, but I think it will be an early night. As one ad stated, Mary tried a “Hail Mary” to win with the Keystone-Pipeline vote but instead did a “Fail Mary”.
Could someone please explain the look of panic/fear/desperation on Mary’s face in most of the pics I’ve seen of her lately? Does she fear being homeless when she loses?
It’s the look you get when the lie and fraud that is YOU finally catches up. Oh, and when you realize the outside door to your parent’s basement has been padlocked.
Go ahead Mary, go find a job in the Louisiana economy you helped create.
The Landrieu family is Louisiana/New Orleans’s version of the Kennedy political machine. They win elections and have been on a roll for decades. They have had minor defeats as her brother lost a mayoral race to Ray Nagin but Nagin had to pull the race card to win re-election post-Katrina.
She has always won in the last few days of an election. She knows this time it won’t happen. This is very sweet for those of us who have waited years for this to happen to one of the most progressive liberal Democratic political families in Louisiana who have always some how defeated Republicans.
I think nepotism should not exist in our political process. The Kennedys, the Clintons, the Romneys, the Bushs, and any number of state officials. It is a dangerous game. It all stinks to high heaven.
Apparently, there was not enough voter fraud to prevent exposing this fraud.
Why not, fraud seems to be the Prime Directive.
